correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think you need the peg going through the back because it's only purpose was to push forward the front peg forward, but since they're not connected it doesn't matter.

Ehm, I'm not american or english, so you'll have to explain it like I'm 5 years old, for me to understand

You know how there's an orange peg in the front and a black peg in the back? When the turret is aligned the rotating octagon thing pushes the black peg forward, thus pushing the orange peg forward so that the orange peg goes into that little peg shaped indent in the front.

Like this:

^octagon thing

Sorry, I suck at explaining things w/o pictures.

Now I know what you mean, thought you were still with my barrel issue......

But you are right, I didn't want to solve yet another problem, after I glueed in the barrels, I could'nt get in there anymore.
Thus making the peg movable like original seemed logical to me, and maybe it helps some how to line up the cylinder to the hex thing.

New Update!!! (sorry for the double post.)

As you can see, the new title for the gun is The Unforgiven

Posted Image

It's going to be a steampunkish kind of gun, and heavy to, due to the copper and brass

Posted Image

The modded mav is bolted on top upside down and connected with a flex pipe

Posted Image

The copper tube is hotglued into the Titan barrel and the barrel is plugged with a hotglue filled coupler

Posted Image

Can't do ranges yet but i believe it wil be 80+ feet with 15 pumps

Nice job on that turret.

I like it overall. A Brass/faux wood paintjob would really complete it.

Doing this as I speak. I have no idea when I got it...my DAD got it some 15 years ago, but that doesn't matter. Anyways, it keeps jerking around all over the place. I try to hold it with a rag...It doesn't look like...much.

I......It's.......*orgasm*.
that looks absolutely fantastic, i can see the steampunk styling already.

Especially now with the turret attached to the top seems like it would be much sturdier.

the one thing i was wondering is do you now fire using the lever on the piping that's on the side or is it still trigger fired.

80+ feet with 15 pumps... I see... How fast are the pump strokes?
And is that turret permanently attached? EDIT: Oops.
One more thing about a future paint job: paint the tubes to look like they have radioactive goo in them (use florescent).

Both pumps are plugged, after 12 pumps it gets harder to fully pump and the pump rods, "push" back about halfway.

I like the fluorescent details on some guns posted on the 'haven, so i definitly am going to try to combine a bit of steampunk and cyber paint features,

Thank you, I am sure as hell I'm not going to paint the copper, when I think of what it could look like in the end it makes me all fired up

The yellow balls are also slightly smaller in diameter than the green ones.

That thing has a shit load of dead space.

But it's a titan, so it doesn't matter... but I agree.

Holy dead space.

I mean sure it's a titan, but still thats a lot.

Also it is very nicely done.

How is the maverick turret working out now, and is there a difference in range from a regular singled titan?

This gun is simply awesome. The turret looks cool, but you must be losing range because of its mediocre seal.

Indeed.......

That thing has a shit load of dead space.

But it's a titan, so it doesn't matter... but I agree.

Offcourse there is some deadspace, but it still outranges most guns, and im going to use the mav as scattergun (may I ever play a war)

That thing is.....well...in my vocabulary there is only one word to describe it properly: 'wonky'.

Wonky?

I know but the 12mm copper doesn't "stretch" like vinyl can, the mav is working fine, just need to add a handle for the rotation mech, and it does reduce ranges, but then again, its a rush-stopper

This gun is simply awesome. The turret looks cool, but you must be losing range because of its mediocre seal.

I have done as much as I can, I even added some foam, and the air opening is spring powered against the turret.

Personally I liked it the way it was before. But than again I'm almost all about looks, but whatever works for you then whatever.

Wich way? With the mav up front? That was'nt practical because of sheer length, (over 4 feet)

Future jobs to do:

-removing stock titan pressure gauge, flip around the tap and adding a real gauge to the side port of the tap.

-Fabricating a tap on the front of the original titan barrel, to attach my new speedcoupler system to

- PJ offcourse B)
