Guys, the airzone arrow storm thing is not a different gen arrow storm. They are two different guns and nerf has not sold rights to airzone for the gun to the best of my knowledge. All it is is a blatant rip-off.

A blatant rip-off that is similar enough to be mentioned regardless.


As for the performance differences, I have owned 3 BBB's - 2 purple, 1 red - and the spring in the red one is MUCH weaker. It's saddening.

For me and my friends , we find that the yellow Maverick work better than the clear gamestop one. HOWEVER, I DID MOD THE YELLOW ONE, but only the half barre mod. No air restrictors or anything

Newest TTG's have a cocking mech like a scout. Old Tech Targets have no blue on them. Can't remember the exact colors because my 1st and 2nd gen ones are down in southern Jersey right now. SuperMaxx was before my time so nothing to contribute in that department...

An excellent addition to this thread would be having the variants link you to pictures. If NoN is interested, I could help him hunt down some pics.

And AssasinNF: If you go by that logic than all those shitty knock-off TTG's would be listed under TTG. They're almost identical.

I didn't know how far back we were going with this. If you want to add in SuperMaxx, that brings in a shitload of other older guns, too. And I just plain forgot the Tech Target.

The huge amount of newer/younger users here means that ALOT of people now exclusively own N-strike / Dart Tag guns. When a thread like this is created by the newer users, obviously the SuperMaxx guns and whatnot are going to be ignored until someone such as yourself adds them rather than just noticing a lack of them.


Also, this whole thread is supposed to be about performance differences between different versions. Why not mention the AirZone Arrowstorm? The differences between the Nerf and AirZone versions could be useful information.

Ide like to know if the ironman is worse than the normal magstrike, but i could change bullets over so thats not a problem. Are there any other major differences?
If dosnt really matter because the ironman is the only one avalible to me, but i still wanna know.
