Wait.A while ago i bought 2 ft. of 1/2 inch copper. The inside of the tubing is pretty rough and it doesn't fit any size dart. It's a waste of money. Dam i was stupid for getting it. Now all it does is sit and rust in my basement.
Something tells me that you didn't get copper.
Copper is sold at Home Depot in 8 feet lengths.
From what I've seen, brass tubing is sold in two feet lengths.
It seems to me that you bought some brass tubing with too big of a diameter.
Because brass tarnishes easily, and when it's too big it (obviously) doesn't fit darts.
I'm still not sure about "rough."

No, brass comes in 1 foot segments, copper is sold in 2 foot segments. "Segments"
