With non-standard ammo it would be hard to do anything but

There's not really much you can do.
If your modding it for the fun of modding it (which is fine), there's basic stuff like plugging the pump. Not sure if the OPRV is in the same spot as most nerf guns though.

If you're looking to make it war worthy, don't bother. Without an actual barrel, this thing won't get the ranges you need. You might be able to use it for indoor wars though.
