So that, is my nerf Nitefinder. It was the first gun that I ever owned. i had actuallly gotten it for Christmas.
It's got a air restrictor removal and other mods.

I followed Freedomkid71's mod and truned the battery slots into dart holders allowing for a more realistic pistol reload method.


I also took a bottle cap with a fairly futuristic emblem on it and hot glued that over where the light would've been.


In addition, I cut off most of the pullback handle so that it would be compatible with another one of my creations which will be finished shortly. It's also seems more comfortable to me this way.


I then painted the gun using Design Master Flat(Matte) Black 725. This is some old black paint I Found lying around in may house so I'm not sure if it's still availble today.

I don't mean to be mean, but please put some orange on that NF. You are going to get shot if you don't put any orange on it.

Yes, I agree. I think alot of people need to realize it is important to keep some orange visible from the front and sides of a nerf gun. Just the trigger and the tip of the barrel is all you need. Otherwise you could scare alot of people and that could lead to a whole big mess.

I think it would have been better to post this in the Mods and Paintjobs Thread. (Also do this for your other gun instead of making a new thread on Tuesday.)

I don't mean to backseat moderate, I just thought it might let this thread end without too much more trouble.

It does look nice (most people don't like the usual colors though). You just didn't need a thread for it.

Edit: I think I can answer skorpions question.
Cutting the finger slot off on the plunger rod makes it look more "modern" and less kidish.

I really like the bottle cap infront of the light, but the black pretty much ruins it.
