I want to do a barrel replacement on my Ls, but I have a few questions.

1. What material fits stock streamlines best?

2. What can I use to replace the dart tooth without causing air loss?

P.s: I've found that the pumps from this super soaker is much like a shotgun pump. Who else is for cutting it and making it into a shot gun foregrip? Posted Image
Edit: Sorry for the large pic.
Edit 2: The description got cut off.

If you are doing a barrel replacemnt without a re-breach, you should do this:

You don't need a dart tooth.

Don't bother with the super soaker, you can make a shotgun fore grip from scratch cheaper. And it would be better.

Is there a way to do it without the bolt seal? I was asking what i could use to substitute for the dart tooth, without air loss. I've already done the Ar/BBB on my longshot, it was an extremely easy first mod.

Why cant you make a bolt seal? You cant keep the dart tooth and not have air loss.

I meant use some material in the barrel to push the dart back, I've seen this in many homemade breeches. As for the bolt seal, I don't want to risk screwing up my gun.

Then, I would suggest you leave it stock. If you're not willing to risk the gun, you shouldn't be modding it.

You WILL break a gun at some point, might as well be your first.

Instead of using the super-soaker as a foregrip open it up, plug the pump, and add a cpvc coupler.

I've already screwed up a maverick, I just don't want to screw up another longshot attempting the bolt seal. I tried before, it ended in Effeminate failure, with me cutting WAY to deep through the bolt. <_< I just don't want to have to buy another one.

This pump is hardly large enough for a Longshot. Also it should be easier to make one out of PVC. I have the water gun so I would know.

Then deal with the damn dart tooth.

It's actually a push/pull gun. This gun is really good-don't waste it on a LS shotgun grip!
