Ok, so my Dad had recived a Recon from me for his office wars. He was up against Marshmallow guns and wasn't able to keep up with the power and ROF. He is asking me what mods I can do to increase the range and power, I was considering doing an AR removal but I don't know if it will help him that much. I don't want to do an angel Breech but I was just wondering for your option.

You could always add a spring in the stock like this and you can still do an air restrictor removal.

Do the angel breech for the recon. Also give him lots of clips and or a double clip.

I'd recommend that he lose the recon and get a big salvo, dtb, or hornet. All those guns will give better ranges and pretty good rof.
The yellow balls are also slightly smaller in diameter than the green ones.

Meh. DTB only outshoots the recon by 5-6ft, BSs do have 4 barrels, but need 10 pumps to prime them, and you need to stick 4 darts down the barrel. Hornets need a lot of pumps too.
Xbox: If your dad doesn't mind the extra size, a LS might be a good option. Just pop out the ARs, and add a NF spring. The new ones are pretty weak, so that won't be overkill at all, expecially with streamlines.

I'm going to disagree with you on this one. The Hyperfire set, is cheaper than a LS, easier to mod, less picky with ammo, one of the DTBs hold more than both the LS and The Recon. Plus you could dual-wield the DTBs. Also the LS would be Kinda hard to hide under his desk. compared to one/a couple of DTBs

I have converted a big single shot marshmallow blaster. It shoots stefans at least 175 ft angled and 120 flat. It has a low Rof tho.

I said they DON'T WORK well. lrn2r3ad. They don't get very good ranges. The ranges in that thread you posted were absolute bullshit. I'd also appreciate it if you didn't send me condescending PM's telling me I'm wrong just because you can't wait for me to check this damn thread.

Ok about the PM's but I still don't think these get really bad ranges. I think more like 60-65'. Have you ever made one to actually have proof of this low range?

No, but I know that Lt. Stefan did and it hit about 30 feet. I hope you realize that an angel breech creates tons more deadspace then there ever was stock. The only reason it works well with the longhsot is because the longshot has a large plunger tube and can get a lot of air moving. A recon can't do this, so the stock breach actually helps it.
