I was trying to take apart my longshot and cannot get the knobs off the sides that are used to cock the gun. Can someone explain how to get them off. I tried turning them and prying on them and neither worked. Thanks.

Using a claw wrench as suggested by that thread didn't work for me. I used leverage and a large flat head screwdriver.

Use the claw end of a hammer.

It looks like they are from left to right, rod from primed indicator, screw to held in a lock that you are missing that goes at the back of the plunger tube, and the catchplate.

Take off all that tape on the barrel. When you cock a Longshot, the barrel travels into the plunger to push the plunger head up. With all that mass on the barrel, you will not be able to get it primed.

Where does the catch plate go?

The catchplate goes near the very back, it is just in front of the part of the piece that rotates the primed indicator.

That isn't the catchplate. I'm pretty sure that's one of the locks.

Yeah, that one I wasn't sure about but he had all the locks, but looking at it now I am sure it isn't the catchplate. I know it isn't a lock because the only one not there is the one at the back of the PT.

Next time, find it best to use the Internals Directory.

The specific item for you now, is the Longshot Internals Diagram.
Note how it lists each item.

Next time, read my post before posting.
I clearly said in an earlier post that the pictures on the threads did not help me. With that being said sending me a link to the picture I have already looked at will not help me in any way.

Thanks for posting anyway.

It doesn't look like the catch plate, and I'm pretty sure that it's a lock, but to be sure I would need to see a photo looking straight down on the rear of the internals. If you would prefer not to do so, then just assemble the blaster, try to prime it, and if it catches, then it's fine. If it doesn't, then take the pictures and report back.

I am 99.9% sure that is the bolt lock. Good luck getting it to work, and it seems that you might have lost the bolt locks spring by the way.
