I have a problem my singled at2k it isn't working properly. Sometimes when I pull the trigger the trigger goes back, but the tank doesn't release any air. If it doesn't work I have to jam the trigger back very quickly for it to fire. Help would be great. Thanks.

Have you opened up the gun and tried to fix it?

What mods have you done to it? Did you do any mods involving the trigger?

Did you put hot glue on the spring near the tank. Maybe you made a mistake doing that.

The plastic on the trigger might be broken, you might have to build a new one.

The pin moves back but no air comes out, but the pin isn't broken because sometimes it works.

White Moonlight: Yes I have tried to fix it but I don't know what to do.

Cheezypiza/White Moonlight: I hot-glued the trigger.

Capten Karat: No the plastic isn't broken.

StealthMan: I don't need one I have a integrated at2k.

Either your tank isn't pressurizing or the rubber sealer became disconnected from the pin. To see if it became disconnected, pump it up, and stick something into the valve and push on the rubber sealer.

If the second option was the case your gun would also have been pressurized since you first pumped it. My guess is that the tank isn't pressurizing. You may have fucked up the pin when you glued the spring so that it is always slightly open. To check if that's the problem put a dart in the barrel and pump madly. If the dart makes its way out the barrel then the problem should be obvious.

I have had this problem in the past with AT2ks when they are over-pressurized. In certain AT2ks the firing spring doesn't have enough oomph to pull the pin when the tank is pumped 4 or 5 times. Only one of my AT2ks has ever done this, so I think it is a rare problem.

The only solution I can think of would be to perform a pen mod (replacing the spring with a section of a pen), or to dab some hot glue on one end of the spring (which can increase the effective strength of the spring if you do it right).

I think Daniel Beaver might be right. I'll try to post pics anyway. :P

Heres the gun.

Heres the trigger.

Heres the tank closed.

Heres the trigger pulled back while the tank is full.

Heres the tank when the trigger is pulled back.

Here is how I must pull the trigger to get the gun to fire.

I see that you have already hot-glued the spring. I missed that from the above posts. My explanation of the problem is incorrect -- the problem I described has to do with the trigger spring not being strong enough to pull the pin on the tank. If your spring is already glued, then what I described would not happen.

I think TantumBull may be closer to the truth.

I forgot to reply to him, but it is not a leak through the end. could the rubber sealer not working for three or more pumps work for two or less pumps?

Wait, so the gun releases air if you pump 1 or 2 times but won't at all if you pump more?

Try this. Pump 4 times. Pull the trigger. If air doesn't come out, pump one more time. Did that last pump feel like it was the first or the sixth (ie how hard was it to pump)?

Now try this. Remove the internals from the gun. Rip off the glue and detach the trigger, being careful not to bend the pin. Pressurize it and manually pull the pin (with your hands). Does it fire? Try it both at 2 pumps and at 5.

Post your results to these exact tests.

I am saying that if I pump it one or two times it will fire, but if I pump it three or more times it will fire 10% of the time.

The next pump was hard like a fith pump.

It would always fire when I pulled the pin manual.

Would you mind taking a picture of the rear of the trigger (Where it connects to the firing pin)? From the back side though. Your problem may be the firing pin slipping through the trigger, so yes, you're pulling the trigger back, but the pin is not coming with it. There is enough friction though to pull it back when it's only pressurized with 1-2 pumps, but not enough when you've pumped more than that. I'd need a picture of the back though to determine this. Most 2ks, well, all that I've seen, wouldn't have this problem because the metal pin has a raised area on the back that stops that orange piece from falling off.

Hmm, so the tank is holding air, and will only fire if the pin is pulled manually. The only thing I can think of is that your trigger is somehow broken so that it still slides but isn't actually connected to the pin, or that the hotglue doesn't completely fill the spring and is just sliding over it when you pull the trigger.

Try getting more hotglue in the spring if it isn't already completely filled. If this doesn't work you're going to need to post a video of the internals (specifically the trigger), IN FOCUS, so we can see whats happening when you pull the trigger when the tank is pressurized.

Thanks everone. I have no way to shoot a video so I might use a pen body on the trigger spring, or integrate it. I post if the pen body idea works. And Just Some Bob I only posted those pictures because I thought that he wanted them I am not a stupid noob. ;)
