Will my LSs boltsled break if it has a 1st gen LS and 2nd gen BBB spring in it?

Also, what other ways are there to increase range? (yes, I searched)

The boltsled is more likely to break. And another thing to increase range would be a barrel replacement.

How could I increase range with a stock boltsled? I heard somebody got like 90 ft with theirs.

90 ft. is a BS claim out of a stock breech. Honestly, even if you could hit that range, it would be because of a lucky swerve of a streamline lifting it up in the air an extra ten feet, allowing it to fly farther. At 90 ft. from a longshot with a stock breech, it's to the point where it's just luck and it's useless.

You can increase range though. Plug the hole in the side of the barrel, drill out ars, increase plunger head-plunger tube seal via either e-tape/teflon tape under o-rings or replace the plunger head entirely CS style. Then, re-enforce the boltsled, and add I believe 4 1/2" of a +bow spring under the longshot spring. That's all you're going to be able to do with a stock breech. I'm not entirely sure what you'll hit, as I don't have one modded like that, that was all gathered from things I could find around the site and common sense.

Hey...I got a crazy idea: how about you stop all that sigging stuff? It's not even my thread and it annoys me.

I don't think you can get that kind of range, anyway, with stock darts. A good stefan with a stock breech has gotten me to 60 a few times, and I was using a new-gen LS with only the ARs removed. Given, it was a few times, a GREAT stefan, and the conditions outside were good, but if the New-gen can do it, a first-gen LS with BBB spring added can probably get farther.

Yes. It will break. I seriously recommend reinforcing it before it cracks/breaks. You can reinforce it with fiberglass, carbon fiber, aluminum and epoxy putty, or something else.

I realized that in my last post, I lost sight of the point.

It's a GREAT idea to reinforce your boltsled.

My original broke, and I only had the stock spring. (Slamming it back too hard is a no-no)
If you have the capacity, completely replace it.

Reinforce IT! my friends Ls broke with just the stock spring after 2 wars with it. I would recommend carbon fiber.
