Does anyone know of a good replacement spring for a BBB and where I could obtain one?

A good replacement spring for just about any spring is an AR15 buffer spring.

Thanks. Any idea where I could get one? I'm still open to suggestions.

I'm sure you have Ace #49's lyin around. Just use two, but cut the second one to fit.

I would suggest checking your local gun shops. If none of them carry them, you will have to check online.

Make sure that you get rifle length NOT carbine length. Just be aware that they are rather expensive.

EDIT: I cannot say which is better out of the Ace #49's or the AR15 buffer springs. This is because I live an hour's drive from an Ace store.

Thank you both for replying. I will try my local gun shop for an AR 15 spring because it's only a five minute walk from my house. If I ever come across an Ace Hardware then I will try a #49 spring.

The Ace #49 is stronger and cheaper than the AR 15 spring. But the AR 15 spring works fine.

^Noted. Thanks for the advice. As I said, I don't have an Ace near me.

RFSG spring. Intertwine it with the stock spring.

Where to get: From a RFSG.

Hey...I got a crazy idea: how about you stop all that sigging stuff? It's not even my thread and it annoys me.

I put in a recon spring and it works quite well. Make sure you reinforce the plunger head.

1/2 of a +Bow spring (9637K26) or the LpL spring (9637K25) are what I am using in two of my BBBs.

It should probably be mentioned that you may need a stronger catch spring as well if you replace the main spring. I use a +Bow spring in mine, and it had problems catching before I added a second spring. I used the spring out of a pen.
