Well, everyone hates the pumps on the new big blasts, so here's a solution (this isn't a write up). The first picture's a side shot (in front of my awesome AlienWare PC) and the second picture's a close overview.

I didn't build this for the messed up pump (my pump actually worked quite well), I mainly built it for an integration. I may post a write up if it works well, but it's simple enough that you shouldn't need one. Under the 2" coupler is the 4B tank, which is connected to a Magstrike pump.

EDIT: Video's up.

Questions, comments, and constructive criticism are welcomed.

I am not sure if you can even called that minimized, it's so small. Good work getting it all to function properly. It would be nice to see if you could create some sort of housing for it. Oh, and nice Alienware.

From size and firing pin placement, I'd say you just cut out more than half of the tank space of the 4B.

I think you'll be lucky to get 20ft out of 4x7" barrels,

Got it all put together, the seal was perfect, but not very strong so I'm going to go buy some goop and fix it.

Zorn's Lemma: I didn't cut down the tank, just the wierd, oversized pump (and globe-like thing).

Point Blank: Thanks.

What's wrong with the pumps in the new Big Blasts? The only issue I've noticed is that the o ring doesn't seal well or at all in a few, but a little teflon tape under the o ring fixes that right up.

Edit- the "globe-like" thing is part of the air tank. Without it, you have a AT2k sized tank. How did you seal up the 3 holes?

You'll do a lot better if you spread the lips with the front. Trying to wriggle the back in there first seems a bit counterintuitive.

Along with the fact that the "globe thing" is part of the tank, you also kept the MS's push-button valve, which means you need to push a trigger just to be able to pump the gun.

Well, it's actually alot bigger than an AT2K tank, atleast twice as large, but it's fairly small. I will probably add to the tank with CPVC later, or just single it, but I think it will be great as a point blank type integration.

Well, I've been working on it a little bit, but it's still a bit buggy. the main leaks are out, but it will only hold about 4 pumps of pressure without leaking (it will hold more, but will hiss). It's missing the trigger (so I use pliers to open the valve) and has an unknown barrel on it. The barrel is between Schedule 40 and Schedule 80, so it's got a fairly loose fit on my darts, but not loose enough to slide out of the barrel. Yes, I know the video sucks, but you can here it firing, and see how it works.

EDIT* Forgot to add that the barrel is 2ft (exactly) and I will do range tests tomarrow, but don't expect much.

Well, I just did a range test with the 2ft, bad barrel. Shots ranged from 20-40 ft flat with 3-4 pumps. I'm going to fix the leak so that I can (hopefully) be able to pump it 10 times and I'll cut down the barrel to 12". More updates to come...
