Dear Nerf Haven,
Hello I'm new here to Nerf Haven ( My account got validated quickly though, it only took three days) and I was wondering if any of you guys have mods for beginners. Also, if you could please give me tips that would be great.
THANK YOU! :)

It really depends on how good you are with tools and what you have. And your over all experience. But what you should do is buy a NiteFinder. Then take a look at the modification directory. It is the pretty much the nerf mod bible. Take a look at the Nitrfinder mods and see what you undertand and can do.
Then try it!

For future help, just look at the modification directory. Any more posts like this will get the admins mad.

Welcome to the Haven!

Look in the modifications sub-forum. This area pertains to Nerf Wars only. Thus, I will be moving this topic to its related forum.

Per your question, there is literally a half a page of helpful links pertaining to modifications in that section of the forum. Please post in the right forum, use our search feature, and review the Code of Conduct. We have a steep learning curve here, so you will be expected to pick up our rules quickly and to abide by them.

You should either do an angel breeched LS, a doomsayer, or a Lancer.

You should really search, I made an example above of someone trying to trick a n00bish person into doing mods that are even tough for experienced modders.

Those mods aren't THAT difficult, I've done two, Angel breeched LS and Doomsayer.

But on topic either a Nitefinder, or Big Bad Bow.

It's funny looking through things you said years ago, you realize how much of an ass you came off as sometimes.

Thanks for all your help guys. I thought all of you would be like "Look It Up!". I think I'm going to mod a night finder or a maverick. I'll figure it out

Once again thanks!

NO.

I don't reccommend modding a Maverick.

I say Nitefinder.

Mavericks are wierd. If you mess up on some of the AR removing portions, you can really screw up your Maverick.

That was my first one and it's still in pieces around my house.

My first mod was a mav, and it was relatively easy, but I'm somebody who was opening stuff up even as a toddler.

I have to say do not mod a maverick (I think I spelled that right) i am a experienced modder and I broke 2 of them because the rotation mech screws up to easy. In my oppinion I would chose a nightfinder or a big blast.

Mavericks are a piece of cake. I've made 5 mavericks since November. The rotation seems pretty sturdy. Newnerfmodder, you must've got unlucky.

I must've gotten unlucky too, because when I tried to mod my maverick I completely messed up the rotation mech.

I would definetly mod a nightfinder. Also like many other people said check in the modification directory for a mod that works for you.

Please show me a cheap method of MAKING mavericks, I'm stuck having to go to the store and BUY them.

All joking aside, I recommend modifying a AT2K or Big Blast for your primary & a Nitefinder or AT2K for your secondary.

Between the nitefinder and maverick, I would have to say mod the nitefinder, the maverick only get's good results indoors and with a coupler system the nitefinder can get only about a 2x slower reload than a maverick and it shoots farther and more accurate.
Take of your thinking caps, and put on your ALGEBRAINS!
