"This is my Class 2 Entry (Edit: class 2 was just cosmetic)
Introducing the
Maverick 6.66 also affectionately known as “Painless”
The Maverick 6.66 It was the answer to the customer’s complaints of cheating (mainly done by little fat kids who said they can out run a Nerf dart).
The 6.66 is a semi automatic blow-back revolver. The action was so heavy that sometimes the slide would break and launch itself across the room embedding itself in a wall or who ever was in front of the wall- So a chain lanyard was added to protect the shooter. The 6.66 was outfitted with a 15 ¼” blade that was designed for hacking and skinning. With the combined Spikes the entire surface area of the 6.66 turned into one giant cutting, blunt-force-trauma inducing anti-cheating device. The R&D was messy…
Sadly the 6.66 never made it past the R&D stage because of concerns brought on by the VP of Nerf. She felt that the 6.66 did indeed halt all cheating while the gun was on the field, but at what cost.... Many felt that the "Skinning tip" was the straw that broke the camels back. For liability purposes the "6.66" and its "added features" were removed and all documentation was burnt. The designers were slapped around for a good 5 minutes before being released from Nerf. Within hours a “Black on Black” corporation hired them for some R&D development."
I posted this in the "Picture thread" so if anyone went looking for it, logically they could find it there. I'll add the story to it here
