I was looking at the 2nd magstrike in my collection, one I purchased just for the clip.

Would it be feasable to remove the bladder and then place that over the 1st Magstrike?

And if I did so, would I be increasing range? Or would this just increase the ability to shoot more darts?

Any thoughts?

If you were able to pop it over then it would increase range. It would also weaken it, and it would be a bitch to keep airtight.

Sure, that would work fine, IF you could nest them. I find it very unlikely that you will be able to, though, due mostly to the thickness of the bladders. Personally, I use sections of bicycle inner tube, which seems to work pretty well. Many people will use rubber bands as well.

Thanks, good points. I use rubber bands now, but was just thinking of a way to make it better.

The inner tube sections are more consistent, and eliminate pressure points which could cause extra wear on the main bladder.

And If you use sealf repairing innertubes you will get a noticable range increase, aproximatly 15-20ft.

Anyway, nesting MS bladders would be pretty hard, but if you can, go for it, man.

Anyway, that's what I would do. I'm not too jazzed about trying to get something into a space smaller than it is.

I was able to do it, with lots of silicon grease. First I turned the 2nd bladder inside out. This put the ribbing on the outside, and made it easier to slide over the first bladder.

Range increase was marginal but capacity went down. Was only able to get 1/2 clip to fire before needing to refill the bladder. I think this was due to the thickness of the bladders.

So I went back and put the bicycle inner tube on it and it worked just as well with the range, while capacity was still at 2 clips for 40-50 pumps.
