I'm looking for some preferably free software I could get to make some cool graphics for my site. I'm also interested in software to make those 3D Animations similar to Zero Talent's awesome homemade designs. Can anyone help me out here?

I used Gmax, because I'm too cheap for the $20 price tag of Milkshape 3D.

To view, resize, and soften images, I use Irfanview, though I really needs something better for the editting part.... I'm using Paint. It hurts.

I hope other people have better suggestions, because Paint just... Well...

Nothing beats Photo$hop. Nothing even comes very close really.

That said, The Gimp is very good and it's free.

It's a Linux native but has a Windows port that's generally quite functional.

Windows version.

Main (Linux) distro site.

Anyone who is using Paint really needs to give this a try.

Note: Because of the Unisys gif patent thing, you need to dl gif support as a plugin after installing the main program.

vector graphics.. hooohhh!!! I use illustrator for the most part while making vector graphics, but if you're looking for those *cough*ugly*cough* pixels, yes, photoshop is the best.. but also pricey, unless you're a software pirate...... I've heard good things about GIMP, might want to give that a try.

Does this GIMP thing work with XP? Those GTK+ runtimes look suspicious.

Do you have the papers...?
No, but I have a big [BLEEP] gun. That's good enough for me!

If anyone was wondering, I'm RoboNerfer from NO. And I'm U.n.c.u.T.! on NerfHQ.
