I haven't paid attention to nerf much lately. For a cheap gun that is easy to mod and gets good range it seems like there is the nite finder. Are there any others? I think I heard something about the later nite finders not being as good as the original? Is that true?

Also wasn't the nite finder originally released in 2003? That seems a long time for one sidearm to not have any real updates. I'm just hopeful for something new I guess.

You can go over the developments in nerf in the Nerf Wiki. You can find an evaluation of every blaster and most information you want.

dude the admins are gonna kill you. The disk shot is pretty much the same as the nitefinder internals and exterior wise.

We don't have military tactics or specialized training. We're fucking kids playing with plastic guns trying to tag each other.

Some decent primaries that you can get your hands on nowadays are air tech 2000's, longshots (If modded right they can be competitive), outdoor sportsman pump shotguns, buzzbee big blasts, and big bad bows.

Big Blast are about $9, give superb ranges, and make great primaries.

The yellow balls are also slightly smaller in diameter than the green ones.

The little critters of nature, they don't know that they're ugly. That's very funny, a fly marrying a bumble bee. I told you I'd shoot, but you didn't believe me. Why didn't you believe me?

Thanks. Thats really helpful.

The disk shot is pretty much the same as the nitefinder internals and exterior wise.

Thank you

Thank you. Its disappointing that air techs got discontinued. But I would like to try those shotguns. I think at first glance I dismissed them as bad guns.

Big Blast are about $9, give superb ranges, and make great primaries.

Thanks

I didn't ask what was the best or for someone to tell me what gun to get. I asked if there were other guns similar to the nite finder and I also asked other questions about the gun.

Blasters that are like a NF:Disk shot. Switch Shot.

Blasters above that are better than a NF: None.

As for updates, they've made about 5 generations of it, all of which are the same.*

A Nf is the epitome of what you are looking for in a sidearm. Cheapness, modability, decent range, and pretty good aesthetics. What else do you want?

I used to have that problem until I got circumcised. 15 pounds later I was able to stand up straight.

Don't forget that NF prices have been going UP lately. At my local Target they're actually MORE expensive than the Mavericks!

My local Five Below had Single Teks in stock for $5. They've got slightly smaller plunger tubes, but strong stock springs. Many modders have compared it favorably to the Lock'n'Load.

Jumico has been suspended for a week. You can't talk back to admins. It's not a debate. This is not a democracy. Let this be a lesson to all of you.

I use an eagle eye with a lazy-man's barrel replacement and it gets better distances than my bro's original blue NF. It's quite a bit bulkier though.
