How many times must it be said?

What ever fits YOUR foam.

Actually look through the forums for information about your iquirey before you post a topic that has been posted for the third time in the past two weeks. There have been so many topics about this, just look for them.

Start with going to a store with your foam and finding something 1/2 inch in diametre. That's all the help I'll give you, maybe others will feel more inclined to answer your question.

Not in the game anymore, but it was great while it lasted. Thanks for the great years of fun, NH!

What he said. Generally micro stefans fit 1/2" barrels (brass being the exception, fitting 9/16"). It also depends on what kind of gun you have (spring or air). If you meant the length of the barrel, it can't be too long, but it also can't be too short. It varies depending on how much air is put out in a said amount of time. Cx has an article about the above here. It should all be explained there.

Mine are 0.48 in. I am using a med/high power gun. should my darts fit tightly, snugly, or loosely?

Assuming it's a pump gun, neither loose nor tight.

If it's a spring gun, you want the base of the barrel to fit tightly, then loosen up as the dart travels.

For your size FBR, 9/16" K&S brass should work well for pump guns, and nested 17/32" -> 9/16" brass for spring guns.

There's a lot on info in the mods section of the site for specific guns, though it applies to pretty much any gun. There are lots of topics in the mods forum regarding techniques, barrel types, darts, etc.

Read up, welcome, and have fun.
