This has been brought up numerous times. Search "replacement parts" (on Nerfhaven) and you will most likely find it.

I sent in an order for two of them last week, and got a quick response saying that they're not produced, and therefore not available anymore. If anyone finds any hornets around that price, let me know, because I'd love to get my hands on a couple.

Back when they were produced, you could only order a couple at time. Everyone knew that they'd call bullshit if you claimed you bought 7 $40 guns and lost something almost a foot long on all seven of them.

But don't you think it's ridiculous that they charge $20+ for a gun that costs, at most, $5 to manifacture?

Sounds like normal business. Though it probably costs less than $5 to make Hornet, try $3.
