I have recently acquired a LnL. I have replaced the spring with an autogrip. I have wrapped etape around the plunger head. I have gooped a 4 inch barrel to the plunger tube. But, I have not been getting the ranges I want; it's actually pretty terrible. If I ramrod a stefan down the barrel, It won't even leave the barrel.
So my question is, what is the problem with it?

What ranges are you getting now? did you wrap so much e-tape that it's slowing down plunger speed?

I'm pretty sure that the e-tape is not the problem. But, when I ramrod the dart halfway down the barrel, it goes about 38 feet flat.

Have you lubed the plunger head yet? If not, that is most likely your problem.

The yellow balls are also slightly smaller in diameter than the green ones.

Basic recommendations I can give are:

Make sure your stefan aren't too loose inside the barrel.

&

Make sure the barrel length itself isn't too long for a spring handgun; 3", 3.5", 4" are pretty good for most (personally I usually stick with 3"-3.5").

PS Grats on getting a LnL, I actually got to try one a few days ago, and those things are great pistols!!

What's the barrel length? Looks to be too long by an inch.

The little critters of nature, they don't know that they're ugly. That's very funny, a fly marrying a bumble bee. I told you I'd shoot, but you didn't believe me. Why didn't you believe me?

No I haven't.

I will cut the barrel and try a tighter dart and get back to you.

Thank you CaptainSlug and Boom13, surprisinling my LnL now shoots 75 feet! I rebarreled it with cpvc, heres a picture:
