So I picked up a SM1500 from value village today. Of course with my luck there is a leak. But wait, the leak is in a REALLY awkward position. Let me explain, Where the Tubing connects to the tank and where the firing pin is. Well, there is a miniscule crack there. I don't have any clue what to do.

I pump, as I pump I can hear all of my air rushing out the crack. Frustrating. I've checked it in water and that is the only leak.

So my question to the NIC, What the hell do I do?

Since you're too young to get a hotel, you should look around, maybe check some aim chatrooms.
Theres alot of really friendly, nice people out there, that'd be more than willing to accomodate a young boy.

Pictures would help, but from what i understand, I think you should try to fill the crack with goop.

That's what I would suggest. Just try not to goop the firing pin in place.

Replace it with a 2k tank if you can't fix it. Try dripping super glue over the crack.

Pictures wouldn't help, the crack is small enough it is hard to see without very good lighting. I'm going to attempt goop, but from my experience with awkwardly postioned leaks it probably wont work.

Tantum is right, I forgot about super glue. It will work for sealing things, just don't super-glue your pin.

Or you could use some acrylic solvent to fuse the plastic together and THEN reinforce it with goop.

Forgive my spelling and grammar. I post from my cell phone a lot. Sometimes when I'm on the can at work.

Pretty much what angel said but make sure that the glue does'nt clog the tube, and put one layer of electrical tape around it for airtight seal after glueing.. hope i helped a little.

Well, there is a miniscule crack there. I don't have any clue what to do.

For leaks that are small cracks or splits sand the area a little with sandpaper or a file then apply a fair amount of JB weld 2-part epoxy steel.
It takes 8 hours to completely set and cure, but once solid it's airtight and very strong. I've used to it repair an sm750 that split in half between the tank and pump.

The little critters of nature, they don't know that they're ugly. That's very funny, a fly marrying a bumble bee. I told you I'd shoot, but you didn't believe me. Why didn't you believe me?

I have this stuff that is called Loctite super glue for all plastics. It comes with an activator. Should I try and sand the tank a little bit and then apply this stuff?
