I'm using one big salvo tank with a plugged 2k pump. How many pumps would be reccomended to get good ranges while keeping the tank in good working condition?

I say stop pumping until you feel the least bit of resistance at all. It's better to lose, like, 5 feet from your gun, rather then blow the whole tank into hell.

Normally, when you're feeling the first bit of resistance, this means just stop. From my experiences with blown tanks ;)

... to be able to get a better burst or sustained fire, rather than blowing the whole load at once.

Uh.. I gotta say, this seems to be a pretty pointless topic. Did you just want to know how many pumps you needed, or did you mean something else?

I agree with what everyone else has said. Just stop when you feel the resistance.

I think THIS thread could answer your question.

I think it's kind of obvious what he meant.

BS tanks can take 60 PSI, at least. You can do some volume comparisons of the pump and the tanks to figure out how many pumps that would be.
