I'm pretty sure it would work, but because nerf completely fucked this gun up, I'd say it would make it either secondary or pistol worthy.

That's not an angel breech that's a barrel replacement. Doing an angel breech on a recon isn't really possible unless you are using the front barrel attachment all the time. There really isn't enough space in front of the dart to make a proper angel breech. There's really nothing to stabilize it on. The reason that setup works is because there is a barrel for the dart to go into. it does not use the original barrel of the LS it turns the area that was the fake barrel and turns that into a real one. That's why the lack of dart tooth works on the LS'ed Angel breeches. The recon however tho "similar" in that it takes the same clip, Has a much different setup.

Forgive my spelling and grammar. I post from my cell phone a lot. Sometimes when I'm on the can at work.

Modified that it is, it’s still an Angel Breech in the fact that it slides over a barrel of 9/16” brass, and the bolt is two pieces, one that slides over the barrel and one that slides under. Being that I made that, I will say that it is ineffective to put on a Recon and I don’t advise it.

To add to this brief discussion about that mod with its relevance to this thread, Lt. Stefan, the breech does not seal for nearly long enough. You say the pieces mesh for less than 1/2", whereas the angel breech seals for over 1.25" (varying) and still isn't a perfect seal. It's good though. Try making yours better.

Angel breeches aren't so great for recons. They increase dead space which on a longshot isn't an issue since it displaces a lot more air and had less dead space to begin with, but with the recon you'd be adding on to already existing dead space. Maybe if you combined it with a niterecon which I recall seeing one of before.

I'm not going to close this thrad because useful discussion seems to be coming from it. However, if you don't have at least a sentance worth of input, don't start a thread.

Yea as CS said one time the pushing of the dart into the bolt actually lessens dead space and helps the range.

I do believe that it is possible, but I would think that some changes to the standard Longshot Angel Breach could suit the Recon better. In conclusion: yes, but I'd reccomend a different breach instead.
