Here the Rogue goes again, this time recycling some parts from several broken blasters in an attempt to make something semi-usefull--The Rogue "Stinger"
Parts Used-
-LS plunger tube
-6" of cpvc for the barrel
-Mag-Strike pump
-Cut down Maverick grip
-1 1/4" to 1/2" pvc adapter
-6" of cpvc for the barrel
-AT2K tank
First things first, secure the cpvc barrel to the 2K tank. I used hotglue temperarily, then Plumbers Goop for an airtight and permanant adhesion. Also fix a barbed fitting to the back of the 2K tank and attach about 12" of clear tubing. Use the Goop to secure this and keep things airtight. It should look like this.....

Now we will prepare the LS plunger tube. Drill a hole just a little bit larger than the tubing in the back of the plunger tube, this will allow the tubing to safely and cleanly pass through the back of the tube.

After your tank/barrel assembly is dry take it and slide it into the Plunger tube, using a small amount of hotglue to hold it in the tube.NOTE:You must feed the tubing through the hole we drilled earlier in the back of the plunger tube as you position the tank/barrel assembly. If you don't do this you will have to pull the assembly back out and do it again.Slide it back until about 1/2 of the valve pin is sticking out the back, you can also attach your trigger now if you want. I used picture hanging wire and a key ring, pretty standard stuff.....


Take the pvc adapter and glue it to the end of the tube, fill the small space between the outside of the cpvc barrel and the inside of the pvc adapter. This will center the barrel in the tube and secure it--

Now take your cut-down Mav grip and epoxy it to the bottom of the plunger tube, mine came from the Rogue Mav-Strike I made a while ago.


Almost done with this thing! Fix the Mag-Strike pump to the right side of the guns body facing forward, and secure it with a generous amount of epoxy. Hook up your tubing, use Goop to seal all the fittings....


Wait for everything to dry, and enjoy! This is nothing fancy or complicated, but it works. Ranges are similar to my RogueScope, and the thing is surprisingly easy to hold, pump, and shoot. I have fairly large hands and it works pretty well givin its compact size.

I like it. Good use of putting spare parts together.
The only thing that bothers me is that the key ring/trigger is behind the handle, so it's hard to fire with one hand.

Thanks for the feedback man, I appreciate it. I got really bored the other night and just starting sketching ideas and building---this was the result. The firing is done with my left hand, while I hold with my right. Sure it's not ideal, but its not all that bad.

I like it, besides the waste of the LS plunger tube. Those are real useful for super NF's, and I think it probably could have been replaced by something else in this particular mod. However, you did do this only wanting to use spare parts on hand, so I can understand why you did it this way.

Thats a good point man, I just used it because it was in my parts box. I will have to try your idea sometime, and thanks for the feedback. I really wanted to do it this way because to my knowledge it's not been done before.

I actually like the idea of the LS plunger tube. If you took the handle off and minimized the tube, it would be a nice intergration.

If you want the trigger to be easier to use, run a loger thread/wire down about 2' in front of the handle and glue a bead there. Then you can thread the wire through and attach the keyring. When pulled toward the handle, the wire will be pulled and the gun will fire. Would make it easier to use without too much work.

I almost decided on that for my upcoming contest submission, but at the last second decided to put something else....How should I put this?....More powerfull there instead. It would be a good idea though, thanks.

Interesting, but then the gun will not be nearly as compact. I would really like to see other peoples take on this, other varients and ways of taking this basic design and making it better. If anyone does, PLEASE post it up

Yea, but it'll be easier to pump and you won't have to hold the gun in the wrong direction.

The pumping really is not all that awkward, and its only 3 pumps. Keep the pics of your versions coming guys, and comments!
