So what does everyone think of Boba's NIB blaster bonanza? (I didn't name it, bitch at twitch)
I think only Busta said anything about it.
It'll be interesting to see what happens. Adds new challenges, and may result in some new mods appearing.

Freakin' awesome. I love the idea. I think it'll bring about both enginuity, simple modifications, and a few screwups mid war with people's blasters which'll probably give a good laugh (I only say this knowing that they'll be laughing too. Modding a blaster in an hour and then using it for a day is a recipe for disaster). But yeah, it's a great idea. I think with it, people will start to see that you don't need to sit there calculating the amount of e-tape you need to put under a gun's o-ring to make it shoot at it's maxium potential range. The time limit forces people to preform the most simple of mods, and while it tests their skills as a modder, it also tests them in war, seeing as they have to use what's most likely going to be a lightly modded blaster.
One thing I disagree with though. I don't think the person should be restricted to this blaster throughout the whole day. What I was thinking, play the beginning of the day like any other, each person using their respective modded blasters. However, make lunch an hour long, and during it, you can mod and eat. Once that time's up, you're out on the field with your new blaster.
I forgot where you guys said it was going to be used, but if it's not near me, I will definitely try to incorporate it into any wars I orginize.
Hey...I got a crazy idea: how about you stop all that sigging stuff? It's not even my thread and it annoys me.

We'll be trying Bobafan's NIB Blaster Bonanza game format at Valhalla 2, which will be at least 3 days. So I'm not really worried about it getting boring, since there will be more traditional war formats going on multiple days immediately preceding/following.
Ok, cool. I just noticed in the podcast that it was mentioned as going on all day. Since you have three days, I guess that'll do fine. As long as there's time for more traditional rounds, this would be awesome.

A little bit long but overall pretty well done. It was cool hearing stories of the late night Nerf wars which the school had no idea about for over a year. I can relate to how frustrating it can be when people want to paint their guns all black and play in public places. Especially in games of Assassin.
Couple of you guys had good radio voices.
I always knew Groove had the perfect face for radio. (sarcasm)
It also finally dawned on me why a person would ever get a "dent" in their skin from a Nerf gun.
Badger was merely dehydrated. Ask anyone in the health industry or into sports how to tell if someone is dehydrated. You pinch the skin and if it does not flatten out to normal right away the body is dehydrated.
This is the same thing here, though instead of pinching the skin a stefan merely pushed it in.
I have no means of de-railing this thread. If anyone wants to discuss that point farther or does not understand how that test works,pm me.
I don't feel the way I used to do.
I know its bad,
After what we had,
But I’m just not the angel you knew.

Sorry to be obnoxious, but when can we hear another podcast? I love these things.
We are recording a new one tonight, to be released later than tonight.

Episode Four
I apologize for the Megaupload link, but we blew through our 15 GB of free monthly bandwidth from Podomatic. It will reset in a few days though and I'll get the fourth episode up through there at that point. Cranky will probably have a better hosted link up soon too, but if you want it now, you'll have to deal with meghupload.
I know a couple people have mentioned various hosting solutions, and if I can get Cranky's help, hopefully we can begin migrating to a legitimate host soon.
Also, The HVZ link I mentioned: No audio
Facebook, with audio
Enjoy! As always, please post your feedback, etc.

"Thread of the Week" is a nice bit and the war stories are always entertaining. For the most part when it was just 1 or 2 talking at the same time it was fine. The silent bits, what was all that about again? And I kept wanting to hear May, Hammond, or Carlson chime in after hearing the intro, seriously.
And on that bombshell, I'm done for now.

But it's also possible that the multiple people taking at once occurred just because of the sheer number of people we had on the podcast. With that many people, the connection was also taxed and this could explain some of the audio quality problems.

In my defense:
-Dart skip might be an issue
-I had used Stubbie stefans, (ie. only an inch long) so I believe that those would fly further than "full sized stefans"
But a good podcast aside from the technical issues.
That's about it. And thanks Angela who helped me with these pictures.. It looks huge in her hands.

The last two podcasts were not as great. The Mag 7 should definitely do our own podcast and blow this piece of shit out of the water.
No-one's stopping you. You wanna be a twatbag, go for it.

@everyone with megaupload problems. I apologize, but seriously, you should have adblock plus.

Do it. Though, why don't we start with getting you on an episode of this podcast first?

Joe, that would be fantastic. I've only been saying that since before episode 1. My schedule is fucking nuts with school and all, but we should be able to work something out.
