[Drew is nerfing]

I am interested in purchasing foam. I have made several hundred stefans using home depot, grey foam, but when I play outside in a wooded area with my friends, they are hard to see on the ground. Not to mention that the quality of the foam is only mediocre. Do you guys know where I can get some red/orange colored foam that fits well in 1/2inch CPVC? I plan on buying several hundred feet.

Get some white foam from SwiFTNerf. It fits great in 1/2 cpvc and is easy to find.

Well, that's the trick, isn't it? EVERYONE want bright, easy to find foam. Not many manufacturers, though. Check the trading section for Mrcrouse's red foam. That's really the only red or orange stuff around, though.

Well, that's the trick, isn't it? EVERYONE want bright, easy to find foam. Not many manufacturers, though. Check the trading section for Mrcrouse's red foam. That's really the only red or orange stuff around, though.

Well, Mod Man foam works pretty well in cpvc and it is red.

Another option is painting the ends of your stefans with fluorescent colors.

You use BBs as weights, right? Just get a damned metal detector (If you have one) or a magnet wand out and start waving it around. BBs are usually steel shot, plated in copper, and they're definitely magnetic. This is what I do with my stefans.



And, I could swear there's a rule, or at least needs to be one, about posting these threads.

I find that SwiFTNerf's foam is quite a bit easier to find than gray foams. It sticks out in the grass, though not as well as red foam.

And plastic BBs are pointless as weights. They are less dense than hot glue. So just add more hot glue, right? Use metal weights, or don't use them at all. It's silly.

Unless you're nerfing in the snow, white darts are just as easy to find as orange/red darts, and white foam is so much easier to find online. White foam also seems to be inherently very dense and high-quality.

i suggest getting this mile high foam right now its on sale for 10 cents per foot from its manufacturer http://www.bestmater...acker-rod-12-cc. I just ordered 100 ft of this foam for 15 dollars with shipping and handling to my front door.

yes so if you want 20ft you put quantity 20, if you want 40ft you put quantity 40, and so on and so forth

I cant agree any more. I must have seen half a million of these threads asking "What foam fits cpvc?" "What barrel materials are good for stock darts?" "Were can i get good foam?". People, search. If you cant find anything in the site's search engine, then search with google. Remember, google is your friend. This is all you have to do:
