i get about 83 ft now it is lowered than the original test cause i think the springs are compress together now so i get low 80's flat i don't do angled cause i don't aim that way

this vid explains y all my mods suck basically. My ranges were skewed thx to my friend but what ever i will make a vid on the "real" ranges sry for the stupid ranges guys

What mods did you do to both blasters? Also, you should have also left the trigger orange just to be safe.

Actually don't think he even opened up the gun seeing that the trigger for the dtb is a string thing from the back of the dtb

Please tell me that the string hanging out of the end of the dtb isn't the trigger for the dtb.

Not bad, but like someone else said, the cops are going to hate you for that paint job. Nonetheless, You should reinforce your bolt sled if you already didn't do that in your longshot. Those things are fucking evil.

And the guy claims 90ft in his vid. And that his Longshot DTG integration was the cleanest ever, even comparing his against specific modders' and such.

never mind my comments saw the video also those ranges are bull shit there is no way to get that with one spring addition and a stock breech. And how is that trigger even functional he pulls it diagnolly upward in the video.

Don't be so cocky. All you did was a basic AR removal, and glue a DTB on there (which is not the cleanest ever, and looks quite sloppy to me). 90' is BS, but if you want to dream, go for it.

I can only assume that you were attempting to justify your ranges, but I'm calling Bull.

One of my Longshots (BBB+LS, AR's removed, breech hole plugged, sealed barrel, HC plunger head replacement)
only gets 75' max, with terribla accuracy past 55' or so.
And that's WAAY more mods than you did.
No way you get 83' FLAT.

Keep in mind I'm 6'4", so things go farther.

But yeah, Bullshit.

I think that those ranges are a lie because I had a stock breech with about every mod that can be done to a LS and only got 81 feet flat with horrible accuracy and the gun had a bbb and recon spring added. Now my angel breech get about 102 feet and has an AR-15 in it.

Hey K9, it's Okay if you don't like the LS. We're each entitled to our own opinion, but please there's no need to bash it. It may not be able to compete with some of those super modded long ranged or super high ROF guns, but it has a nice balance of range and decent ROF prepackaged. Personally I don't like it if/when it jams, but has respectable ranges if modded correctly/patiently.

And to the angry guys, come on, he's just excited on completing a pretty complicated/long mod; and he did a pretty good paint job (though I have to agree with being careful when taking that thing outside; even the bunch of us got stopped by the police on the last Nerf war, and our guns had all the colors of the rainbow!!).

PS nerfman101, thanks for the credit and all, but I said it before on all my posts and vids...
It was "OfAllTheNerf" who thought up the mod, not me, so mention his name instead.

(If you post new threads in the future, leave the ranges out, maybe that way there wont be so much bashing and it'll leave them wanting to know more about it)

I agree that, by itself, that would make for a poor reason to put something down. But once one has already formed a negative opinion, their being a magnet for noobish stupidity most certainly does add to the problem.

My reasons:
-Bulky
-too empty
-too loud
-Expensive to Canadians
-I hate the clips.
-Goober swarm to this gun

But I like how nice they Can look with the proper work.

There's a link to the thread in my sig, but it's not a write-up. Sorry.

It's cut with a band-saw and held together with screws and sheet metal.

-Bulky = Comfortable to me
-too empty = Integrations!
-too loud = Intimidation/Satisfaction

And fullmetalgir, even though your Longshot/DTG isn't super clean, it's still great that you pulled it off. If it's functional and it works for you, nothing else really matters.
