Hey guys,
A few days ago I bought the new yellow magstrike. After punching out the ar's on the magazine and doing the e-tape mod, i discovered something rather interesting. If I pull the trigger, then pump, it does single shot. It does decrease range but it is very accurate.
Has anyone else done this?

Uh, yeah. I did the exact same thing with my old magstrike. It's not really a discovery, it's a different way to handle the gun.

Yes many people have done this. But it ruins the point of the gun and the range is only 15 feet.

I guess it's useful if you sneak up behind someone, or if you're running ow on darts and need to conserve ammo. This also works with the RF20 and WildFire.
There was something on the bottom of the ad that said erotyka. Sounds like something spicy -Renegademilitia15

It happens because you're running the piston at very low pressures, causing it to take a long time to actuate. Nothing new.

Yes I have done this, it is quite handy if you pick up a dart off the ground and need to hit someone very quickly and don't have the time to pump.

Wouldnt you be able to pump it near 3 times then hold the tigger and pump and get the same affect but with better ranges?

3 pumps will get you one shot, and (at least mine will) every pump thereafter will get you one more shot. I hate to brag but my stock yellow magstrike can get off two clips out of the box. Is anyone else's like this or did I just get uber lucky?

I've been getting similar pumps per shot from mine - 12 pumps fires off the entire clip. Anyone know if the yellow one actually is "more powerful," (higher ranges) like they claim?

My red one will get off 1 1/2 clips out of the box, I can pump it 29 times. Unfortunately, it only gets around 20' flat.

I'm all for sticking it to the man, but there is a line between causing someone more work (ie. egging my teacher's house) and forcing someone to to lose profit
