I was sitting in my back yard, shooting at squirrels when suddenly the range of my lotr crossbow was cut by half, and 1 of the pieces of the surgical tube (heavy duty elastic stuff) was sticking out the hole in the side! It hadn't ripped but only came undone. Anyone else had this problem? I'm probably just gonna goop or crazy glue it back to the way it's supposed to be, but it will come undone again. It's the lawn gnome mofia, they cursed my gun! their out to get me! "Why?" you ask, their in league with the nut-munchers that people call squirrels! But they'll never get me alive! NEVER! NEV... *scream cut short as lawn gnome wallops him in back of head and his limp body is carried off by a team of squirrel-ninjas

See, all I would do is pull the tubing back through the hole that it was conected with, and then hit with large amounts of epoxy, since hot glue probably wouldn't hold very well.
If that doesn't work, buy another one 'cause that thing is probably screwed.

Just go to your local Wal-Mart cooldood. I picked mine up there this weekend. They only have a couple, they're in the toys section.

Dude, you dumbass, you spelled "making" wrong, and Italisizing is only for books, songs, plays, and movies. Someone doesnt know good grammer.

I on the other hand spelled it wrong on purpose

I always thought it was to stress a point, or to quote someone without using quotations... which is just stupid.

Good grammar, or proper grammar? Which of those choices do you think is more appropriate to complete your sentence?

I just really had to point that out to you people... nobody is perfect, so try not to act like you are perfect and put others down for a spelling mistake.

stopped makign them eh? I guess that's to bad, aren't there any other single barrel cocking rifles out there?

Oh, and he didn't really have any grammatical errors, italisizing a word, like Jappo said, is to stress a word. cooldood31 was pointing out your spelling mistake I do believe.

Who really cares though... no one can get it right every time.

*sigh*

I guess I'm no expert at online subtle humor. I tryed my best to correct but to retain a friendly jab in the ribs... only Spectre would understand.

I'm sorry man, you win...

now to get back on topic. I'm not sure exactly what you're talking about, do you think you could post pics of the gun with the problem. that is if you haven't already fixed it, in that case this thread is useless.

I managed to fix it yesterday using superglue and a bit of hot glue. May this be a lesson to all out there: get a maxshot not a lotr x-bow (unless you're Canadian). And as for those who didn't get the joke, you're, well, just plain stupid. Now shut up or I'll send my army of killer mushrooms after you.

Good job on the fix... although I never could decipher what your problem was. Oh, and for the record... that 'humor' isn't funny, or cool. That was just plain stupid. Try not to make empty threats to people using mushrooms, and say it's a joke... it's just a little kid trying to be funny, and it isn't.

For you Blaster, if you didn't notice yet, we were joking around with eachother. I'm sorry that you feel so strongly about the subject... I would rather you not tell people to shut the hell up, when you should be doing the same action.

nah you still don't get the point. you guys were getting way off topic with your "joking around". it's a little annoying when a topic goes from being about this guys broken crossbow to you two joking around and the thread becoming pointless.

Wow. That's odd, the LOTR Xbow is much easier to find, mod, and is a great gun.
I've never seen a Max Shot at any store, be it TRU, Walmart, K-Mart, etc. They're supposed to be really good, but why waste your time trying to find them when you won't? Just buy a LOTR Xbow off Amazon, mod, and have it fire 100'. Constantly.
