Im planning to re-do the clear vinyl on an AT3k. And I just watned to know if hot glue can make and air tight seal. If it can't please tell me something that can. And if possible, could you put a link to it on homedepot or something.

Thanks in advance

Super glue with plumbers goop over it works good, hot glue MAY hold, but I wouldn't trust it. Epoxy works good too.

Use plumbers goop. Work's better than anything I've tried.

When I removed the gauge from my 3K, all I did was cut the tubing off as it connected to the gauge, melt an insert hole into one of the tube, and then slide the other tube into that. Hasn't ever caused me any problems.

Hot glue will absolutely not make an airtight seal. Use Plumber's Goop. It's cheap, and it works well for sealing things up.
