While surfing amazon, I stumbled upon the new Lanard blasters for this year.
We have first of all, the Lanard Shot Gun. Looks fairly basic.

http://www.amazon.co...il/-/B001UE8750

Then we have the Lanard Shell Shock X-6. My favorite thing about this one is that it ejects the shells.

http://www.amazon.co...7647072&sr=1-41

We also have the Sawed Off Shot Gun. How great is that? A 'sawed-off' gun?
http://www.flickr.co...N02/3374350057/
http://www.amazon.co...36374879&sr=1-6

I hope this is all new. The guns look interesting, although the names of the shotguns are funny to me.

My apologies for no embedded pictures.

My favorite gun is definitely the Shell-Shock. A shell-ejecting pistol? Sweet.

Also, would they be so devious as to retain moose, bears, and wolverines as legal council?

Not really new. They've been floating around other threads for the past few days. They do look cool though.

Am I the only one who sees the those different types of darts on the sawed off shotgun? They almost look like stefans or maybe converted dart tag darts.

Or a Lanard version of streamlines?

I haven't seen these before, so thanks for giving them their own thread. The 2 shotguns are what I'm interested in. It looks to me like they don't take shells, which would be awesome. Does anybody know if these are available down in the states yet, or are they pulling a belt-blaster and just releasing in Canada?

Edit: I see, they were in the Product Awareness thread yesterday. Might be more helpful to point people there then "a couple of threads for a few days".

Also, look at the descriptions of them closely. The Sawed Off version fires a Larger Dart, maybe Mega size? And the one with the turret, fires 3 normal sized darts... this gun apparently is not just a reshelled Speedloader like I thought at first to have enough power to fire Megas and 3 darts at a time... I've preordered the Sawed-off one.

So for the sawed-off-shot gun, would it be spring loaded or pump powered? (if anybody knows that is,) Since it looks like it could be based on a different product, just with a different shell, what is the most likely firing system for that gun? (the Sawed-off-shotgun)

Sense you are refering to the speedloader, you could've just searched for Lanard Speedloader and find out it's Spring powered. From what I can see, these Shotguns have the EXACT same trigger that the Speedloader does.

For every one wondering about the new darts, they are 1in diameter with hard plastic as the tip.

You can buy red darts like this at: MC sports; Bass Pro Shops; and Cabelas. They look like they suck though, or really innaccurate from weight and aerodynamic problems (like streamlines).

Where did you get that information? If this is true, and if the gun fires THOSE at a range of 20-30ft.. I wonder how far it'll shoot stefans with only a rebarrel?

The stocks on the shot guns look very similar as some used in air soft.

The gun that has me most excited of the lot is definitely the shotgun. It looks dead comfy. I would much prefer it though if it shot 1 dart instead of 3, or even better, had a switch that alternated between the two. I think it is a fair assumption to say that the plunger tube is hooked up via vinyl tubing to the turret, which means dead space galore. If the gun can be made to fire 1 dart at a time and still auto rotate, hell yeah, doomsayer has some competition. I may be completely wrong about the turret system (which I hope I am). If this gun can get over 50ft, Im buying it. 3 shots, 50+ft, it has Massacre written all over it (anyone catch that?). Another turret posibility would be 3 separate plunger tubes, in which case they would be tiny.
The one that shoots the huge darts looks very promising.
I can't wait for these to hit shelves.

Amazon says they will only ship within the U.S. and they were not at the toys'r'us I went to this afternoon. I think I'm just gonna order both the shotguns and see when they arrive, you get free shipping.

Your forum name suggests greatness. I will be watching your career here on nerfhaven with GREAT interest. Don't fail me.

On topic...it's about damned time some new guns came out. I'm REALLY sick of Big Blasts and PAS's being the only well-performing guns readily available beyond autos...we need some damned VARIETY!

It seems to have only 4 rotation positions. You can sorta tell because of the uneven-ness of the turret and there is a bigger bulge on the side we can see and the top. Vinyl tubing is a possablity, but they may have molded their own air pathways between the plunger tube and turret.

Just wondering... Is the "sawed off" shotgun, the shot gun without the turret and the cheesy stock? It looks nice and compact too...

These look sweet as hell. If they pan out, and we get a couple new airguns from Nerf, it should be smooth sailing for a while. Also, I'm with Bob; that 3-dart burst could be the shit for a number of things. Hate the pistol, though.

I also expect to see a lot of commonality between the "shotgun" and the "sawed-off" versions

Looking at the images, the "full" shotgun looks like it has a turret on the front of it, the sawed-off variant looks like it just has a barrel. Still, 1 legitimate shotgun will be great for games like HvZ. I'm stoked, I just wish I could find some of this stuff in an actual store. I want my grenades dammit.
