That's because some people at the last war felt the best strategy was to camp and try to make the perfect shot.

As crooked would put it, "This strategy is called 'lets hide behind the green tarp, and try not to get shot.'"

I won't speak for crooked but he and I are coming through that way we might be able to pull somthing off. The reason why I say 'might' right now is because there is a possibility we may have 2 completally packed cars if all goes well. Send me a PM when we get closer and I'll be able to let you know.

Don't mean to start an argument, but many people would say that RoF is what nerfing itself should be based upon. Not camping behind some trees and "Sn1pz0rsin" people with you "Sn1pz0rs R1f73" (not attacking anyone in particular, just giving examples). In my opinion, RoF should be the heart of nerf.

But anyways, I might want to pick up a stock AT2K or a set of AT2K internals off of someone at the war if I have some extra cash by then. PM me if you're willing to sell one of the two.

As much as I got owned by CNP last nerf war, Nerfmomma is the one I'm fearing, she always managed to plug me right between the shoulder blades time and time again.


I say its a good arguement, losing vs being able to rush, realistically in my opinion neither one is better then the other but it just depends on your play style. Is it fair to ask someone who can't run to save themselves to rush more and try and get in and get out like CNP has down to a science? Probably not. That doesn't mean that losers can't push the action, personally there are times when I love walking right in the middle of a heated battle field firing off shots, trying to pick people off.

At the same time should someone like crooked, who can't hit the broad side of a barn from 6 ft in front of him try to pick people off? Probably not. Its all about what works for you.

Judging from what I saw boneriot do at the last war I'm guessing he plans on doing a lot of rushing and running around but maybe, from what he said, with a singled gun or something that has a slow reload time.

We've all met each other and know we are all good guys, nothing wrong with arguments as long as they don't turn into flame fests.

There obviously is a distinct difference between styles, i personally actually prefer a higher RoF, my current primary is a recon for that very reason.
I'm just tryin to "poke the bear" and get some folks riled up for THIS AWESOME WAR, WOOOOO.

As far as what Pearson said, yeah. Last war was my first one and i was still shy and new to strategy and styles for an indoor setting like that, i definitely intend to do more rushing next war. The whole beauty of S n i p i n g is that over time you wear down the other teams numbers, this would be really helpful would be in a situation like V.I.P. after the king has died and they don't have respawns anymore. Especially with the fast pace of the games we played at 3, a high K/D ratio is not so important.

Talk is cheap though, i can't wait to get back to the shootin!

I just finished my new primary/sidearm am can't wait to try them out!to get this thread a little more active, what will people be bringing to sell? I can supply clear Mavs to anyone who wants them, $18 or a trade seems fair(I think).

Bringing the foam would be awesome Forsaken, i actually have stefans now that i got my hands on a low temp gun but the foam seems not nearly as good as the other stuff

I will be bringing a minimized 1st gen NF for sale. I have 2, and only like/use one, so the other is for sale at this war. It has an extra spring, and no barrel, but it got 70ft with a CPVC coupler when I had one on.
Like at previous wars, I will probably end up bringing every gun I own (I don't remember all of them right now) and if anyone likes what they see, they can make an offer (xbow, Manta Ray, belt blaster, and AT2Ks are exempt from this).

Things I am looking to buy.
Angel: I would like to buy 15ft of your foam, as a kind of sample. I am still looking for a primary foam, and I am stuck between yours, Mile High, and SwiftNerf's white foam. Im getting samples of all, and deciding based on stefans I make.

ANY AMERICANS COMING UP: I am looking for THINWALL 1/2 inch CPVC. Slightly sanded out at 1 end, they fit FA_24's foam like a DREAM. PM me and we will fix up a price. I was thinking 45 cents a foot, but that is negotiable. I can do trades.

I've got cpvc, it's 1/2, i'm not sure ont he qualifications for it being thinwall.
i've got ready access to it at about 3.00 for 10 feet which would be cut into 2 five foot sections to fit in my car if it's the right kind.

Probably coming to this one and doing option 1. But im not sure if ill be able to bring my guns, so i may switch to option 2. Also, will we be allowed to nerf outside around the portables if a majority of players want to play a round or 2 outside or do u not have that area rented?
