[Forsaken angel24]

I didn't really know which category to put this in so I just went with General Nerf.

When SGM came up to Massacre 3 we had to bring the two Lancers in the same room.


After seeing them side by side we knew that we had to have some fun with them.
So we got to filming and had a blast.

Here is where YOU come in.
There will be a video uploaded on youtube in the next little while of a Lancer battle.

I want the members of Nerfhaven to choose who they want to win.
We filmed 2 different endings.
There is no real purpose behind it, the entire thread and upcoming video is just for fun and entertainment.

So you decide. Who wins and who dies?

In the realm of work into the lancer, SGM has my vote hands down.


In the realm of battle, FA24. He's a fucking death machine, nerfing aside. Putting a chainsaw bayonet in his hands turns him into something worse than the A-bomb.

Angel, hands-down. SGM, in the quality of replica, you kicked his ass in terms of accuracy. But FA_24+Lancer=something that can kill anything. I'm with Soothsayer on this, sorry SGM. I will post a comment or pic on my opinions of the vid.

C'mon, guys. Just because Forsaken is much more muscular doesn't mean he'd win in this sort of battle...maybe. As for voting, I did the honorable thing and just nulled my vote. Besides, we had loads of fun making the video. I will never forget Forsaken's fruity jazz hands death-by-chainsaw. I'm sure you won't see that, but it is very funny. Also, for the record, all physical combat in the video is real.

EDIT: Make sure to vote, guys! Both endings are freaking great!

EDIT2: I was not trying to say that Forsaken isn't honorable or anything. Hopefully both endings will be shown anyway. They both have something great to offer.

Hehe, should be funny either way. I think some weird costumes woulda helped... Like, full cardboard Optimus Prime, and some overalls and a sprig of wheat for FA24. That would be awesome.

To me there really shouldn't be a contest on which is better. Mainly because just because the majority of the Nerfhaven members pick one of those two amazing works of art, doesn't mean that the one that didn't get that higher of the two votes is worse then the other.

I personally like the original (Second lancer Angel made) more then Slowguitarman's. Just because for me it is about war practicality not being a show peice. You both did a great job and I apold you for that.

EDIT: Also I though you sold your lancer Slowguitarman, what ever happened to that?

I've noticed that allot of polls have been EXTREMELY one way. This isn't. Forsaken's lancer looks cooler in my opinion, accuracy aside, but SGM's is way more accurate.

I like the blood on the chainsaw and the overall realism, but FA Lancer just has the paintjob that really looks the best to me. The black on FA's Lancer brings out the lights more, which really caught my eye.

I voted for SGM from a purely aesthetic standpoint.

FA24's looks like a new, standard-issue Lancer whereas SGM's looks like it has gone through hell and back and is about to return for a second tour of duty.

If I had time (or money), I'd make my own Lancer to see if I could make anything nearly as kickass as either one of these two, but I'm rather short on both.

Seeing as how I was the cameraman (or camerawoman, heh heh) in this operation, my vote really shouldn't count. However, I voted for SGM just because I remembered that Forsaken scared me half to death with his mask . Being photographer and filming this Effeminate battle was tons of fun. Both sides have something to offer and the battle could go either way. You won't be disappointed!!

PS: The outtakes were some of the best footage. How can you not love fruity jazz hands?!

Well, Angel did the lights better.
SGM did the PJ better.
SGM's Lancer is more accurate.
Angel's Lancer is slightly cooler.
Something about Angel's seems slightly more hardcore, while SGM's is more... Gearsy.
SGM would seem to have more work put into it, but I'm not really one to say.
Angel's is the original.
SGM's isn't the original, though it is more realistic.

In conclusion, Angel, it feels wrong not voting for you. My heart says Forsaken_Angel24, my mind says slowguitarman. I think, in the end, SGM's is better. But the fact that yours is original gives you many points, also. I guess I'll have to vote for slowguitarman, but I think I'll regret it.

Guys, seriously. You're thinking too much into this. Why regret your vote? This was all for fun. It isn't like the winner gets some sort of prize or something. The fun was in making the video. It will be fun to see who wins. It will be an awesome video to watch. If I lose, I will not be offended. If you like Forsaken's Lancer better or my Lancer better, neither of us will be offended. Don't take this too seriously.

Yeah, alot of people are missing that point, that is why SGM is coming out ahead. Forsaken would win at ANY 1v1 duel in anything with anything, except maybe against Vacc.

I really don't think that's true Galaxy. I mean, in a 1v1 standoff with badger, he lost. He's a great modder, and I've only seen him nerf once, but I would definitely not jump so far ahead as to say that the only one better than him is Vacc. And that's me being reasonable. Otherwise, I'd just shoot him down hard.

Quick edit: I'm not misunderstanding at all, just trying to get some people (especially ones I like, like Galaxy) to stop sucking off FA all the time. We don't need Nerf Celebrities. These are fucking kids toys. Also, read what Langley has to say.

I'm assumed to be winning because people can't read? It clearly says "Who would win in a Lancer duel?"

Also, let's not try to turn this into a "who is a better nerfer?" thread. This has NOTHING to do with nerfing. What is so hard to understand that this is just about him having a Lancer and me having a Lancer, so we had some fun and made a video about it. This has nothing to do with skill in modding or skill in nerfing. It was just for the fun of making the video. Why can't you people understand the idea of fun?
