This is the same 9/16" brass that you buy at Ace, correct?

Look's like it, but it doesn't say if the manufacturer is K&S. But anyway, I would believe so.

It's off by about 3 thousandths of an inch. Just order brass from the ace outlet store if you can't find it locally. Also, Amazon has good deals on bulk. I recently ordered 3 feet of 9/16 for a little over 5 bucks.

Edit: Also, usually the best thing to do is PM CS if you have a mcmaster question. He knows a lot about that site.

McMaster-Carr rarely lists manufacturers for products (the only time I've seen so is on locks). If you want to know, try a Google search for the product number first to see if anyone else ordered it, and if you can't find anything, you should ask McMaster-Carr. They have a "Contact us" page. They're paid to answer your questions and I guarantee that they know the catalog better than anyone here.

I've ordered that exact product a number of times and the manufacturer is K&S. McMaster-Carr's a little pricey on brass tubing but they're very convenient if you're buying other items from them.

Forgive my spelling and grammar. I post from my cell phone a lot. Sometimes when I'm on the can at work.

Yes it's K&S. I have bought from them before and it was K&S.

This page says that McMaster sells their brass. I guess I'll just order it and find out.
