Also in the words of Eric Cartman. "Tell'em there will be punch and pie. More people will come if you tell them there will be punch and pie!"

Only likely to be 3/15 team deathmatch with maybe one round of Gunslinger. The field isn't conducive to Assault or CTF.Slug, it would be spectacular if you could post up some general rulesets, gun bans, the usual, including time to be there and gametypes to expect. This is what, 5 days away now?
Rounds will be starting at 10:30am.
I can't trust the weather forecast to be accurate until Friday morning. Unless there's going to be a gigantic solid stormfront predicted by that time this war is not going to be canceled. Also, it's going to be rainy here in MD that day, how's it looking on the VA reports?
A 40% chance of rain means we might spend 5 minutes of the day under the pavilion.

I'm likely to have some extra on-hand, but you'll have to borrow a barrel in order to use them. I hope your guns are couplered.I've run into a bit of a snag when it comes to darts... I had a couple hundred good to go but somehow they got lost in shipping my stuff out to the east coast for the summer. Any way could pay or buy someone lunch for some darts?

40% chance of scattered thunderstorm is not ugly.Forecast down here is turning ugly, any idea?
It equates to a total of 1 hour of rain over the course of the whole day.
Just print out some directions. The park is really easy to find off either the Fairfax County Parkway or Centreville Rd. exits from VA-267.Looking forward to tomorrow. Is there anyway you can post a way to get ahold of you in case we get lost?

My personal highlights are:
-Dizzy getting his revenge on me for DCNO. (Don't worry Dizzy, I won't describe the horror again.) My attempt at a followup Reactor hit was foiled. Kudos, Dizzy.
-Effective use of nitefinders in most of the primary rounds for the day. Proved to me it can depend on what the player can do with the gun, not just the gun and its range etc compared to others.
-Seeing all the great guys from DCNO again and meeting new ones.
-Seeing Cranky tackle everyone in sight, even after injuring himself.
-Skirmishing with Cranky and others while jwasko covered me with his BBBB from the jungle gym we had captured behind. Thats nerf brotherhood right there, men.
-My brother and I pushing back to the corner of the woodline and holding the entire left flank of the other team for most of a round. You'd be proud of yourself too, god dammit.
One and Only Downside:
-Being the target of three headshots to my temple. The red welt in the center of my forehead looks wacked.
Coming Soon:
-My brother or I will have pictures up that our dad took while he was there earlier in the day (first rounds after the rainstorm). I haven't looked at them yet, but I expect a few good shots.
Thanks for a great war, all.

Thanks for the great time everyone, hope to nerf with all of you again in the future.

I am tired, and my nose hurts.
That's it? Just your nose?
I am now unable to move my left thumb, left knee, and right elbow.
The knee and elbow have some movement, thumb has none. Typing is odd.
Good war, sans the injury.
But I think I set a new personal record for barrel "taps" in one day.
Bummed that I had to sit out so many rounds after the fall.
What did people think of East Coast style? I thought it worked better by the playground, but sat out for one of the east coast style rounds on the other side.
Loads of fun, thanks for organizing this Slug.
Evan, I have the wallet you left. Good to see everyone, thanks for the ride Split. Nice to meet everyone. Gears, Koree, hope to nerf again soon. Waskos, as always loads of fun.
To everyone who ventured here for their first time, hope you enjoyed it.
Thanks to the Waskos and to Slug for letting me use your first aid kits.
P.S. I'm all for another war in the DC region in July, and August, and September, etc.

-I don't really have too many highlights of the war. The entire thing was pretty great. JMWasko is right about the water though. This was the second war I attended in two weeks where we had some rainfall. Wet shoes are just such a killjoy, espically when you're running in them for 6-7 hours straight. But, bitching aside, I loved meeting all the new (as in people I don't know) Nerfers. Being the only guy from south-eastern Pennsylvania, it was a awesome experience getting to feel out the play styles of other Nerfers. Everyone had a really distinct method of playing. Meeting up and riding with Koree (a freakin' Minnesota Nerfer!) and listening to his own stories on how the Midwest guys play was awesome. He's probably one of the only players I've seen that can really lay on some impressive suprerssion fire with his +Bow. Meeting Dean and Rob was great too. So much energy from these guys. I loved playing with you two. Thanks for the on nom noms afterwards!
-I wouldn't be surprised if I gasped when I saw the Reactors come into play form the Waskos. I love non-traditional ammo, and to see a kill during a deathmatch round from a ballgun made my entire day. Thanks for the $1.00 Ripsaw, THIRST! I regret not bringing my arrows for the Xbow.
-East Coast Rules are gay. Maybe I should move to Cali.
-Dizzy's PJ's are sexier in person.
-I hope to see everyone at future wars. Everyone played really solid and I had such a good time. Let's get those pics up!

Blasphemy. Gears, you rock, but there was no reactor play from my brother. Thus only one wasko is..err..uhm.."ballsy" enough to use a reactor. Don't give him false credit. Although, perhaps my awesomeness was just so great I seemed to embody two Waskos to others such as yourself. If that is the case, by all means, please continue.
Pictures:
Here's Cranky before the accident. Note that he has the same affinity for tackling now as after the accident.
Sorry they're mostly focused on me or my brother. Once again, dad took them. Enjoy.
