Combat The "server Lag"

Here's how to combat it.
After you hit the post button, if it goes to the error screen, DO NOT HIT REFRESH, NOR RESEND, NOR ANYTHING!!! Simply reverse the page all the way back to the thread, and refresh from there. Your post will appear, and only once. Saves bandwidth and is quite honestly faster then going and refreshing over and over. Just hit back and refresh from there.

It's moot though, I don't think that feature is part of this board's software, and I doubt anyone would be willing to edit it's code so it allows it.

I've never seen a forum that allowed you to delete your own posts. You can edit the psots and remove the information, but you can't delete it's existence in a thread entirely.
They exist.
I always wondered why this forum did not have that valuable function.

We don't let you delete posts because of a secret conspiracy against our members and the technology of nerf.
I knew it! It figures that you guys are all conspirates! When I was an admin on The Accord Wagon Club, we had it set like Galaxy noted, though I still ended up going through daily and deleting misposts and moving things... And that board is populated by adults too. You guys don't have it easy moderating this forum.

Sure it's a lot of work to have to monitor all the crap that goes through this site, but this way no one can post something that bashes someone and get away with it.
It's called the edit function.
