This is my first modification write-up so I hope you guys like it.
Post updated.

Materials:
Recon
Blast Bazooka
4 1/2 inches of 3/4 cpvc
Adhesive of choice
Craft foam (optional)
Dremel

You need to first take your recon and cut this part off.
Posted Image
You need to wrap the remaining part in electrical tape to fit snug in the 3/4 cpvc.
You need to now remove all locks that I have removed.
Posted Image
Now you need to cut your blast bazooka barrel to about 1". You also need to cut 5" from the right side of the blue line.

These pictures should explain everything else.

I have only used hot glue for right now, but I am going to reinforce it.

Sorry, no ranges yet. I have just realized something. You need to wrap electrical around the original recon breech to fit snug in the 3/4 cpvc, that is why my ranges were a little short.

Questions, Comments?

If you could find a way to use the original Recon trigger for the LBB, then that would be amazing. But other than that, nice write-up, and you just gave me a great idea, so thank you for that!

I'm a bit confused here, does the recon still use clips?

That's a cool mod, maybe I'll do that with my broken recon. I'll try and find a way to put it all in the Recon frame and body/reciever and connect the triggers.

Can this be done with a Buzzbee Big Blast? They're both basically the same internals aren't they?

How many pumps does it take?

Most likely it can be done with a big blast, but I am not sure.
My blast bazooka takes about 10 pumps, but I did plug the pump.

This is a good idea, but may work better with something slightly smaller, like a Mega Missile.

I love to modify both the buzz bee big blast and this one done by Air zone. There is no contest as to which is more powerful. The Big blast has simalr but different internals. The basic concept is the same but the air tank is different. The big blast has atleast twice the power of the Air zone bazooka, plugged and unplugged.

Excellent modification. I am going to do this right away with a big blast. Way to go!
