To make a long story short I aquired this from Wal*Mart, got an Eab from Goodwill, got really bored, had this stolen and returned a couple months ago, and am just getting to the write up. ( http://nerfhaven.com...?showtopic=8773 ) normal write up for reference. I will now proceed with the Beast.
That is the plunger assembly, complete with spring, catch, screwed up priming handle, and O-rings. Also with plunger and previous barrel assembly.
Inside the plunger assembly, AKA the internals.
Two nitefinder O-rings, one is from a broken NF.
Plunger head.
The EaB spring, it came from an EaB with a shriveled plunger head, and is now put to excellent use.
The catch/ priming handle.
Plunger head on the plunger rod.
Hole drilled in plunger stop for more airflow.
The Beast fully assembled. The barrel is 1/2 inch Genova CPVC, with 3/4 something-or-another over it for stability. Basically all it is is the usual 2 O-ringed, new springed NF with my own little twist.
RANGES: Stock orange foam whistler; 58'
Stefan: single zing-plated copper BB, .177 cal.; 78' feet.
Special thanks to Gengar003 for his write up, although the AR removal was the needed part of it. THANKS!!!
Questions, comments, flames, concerns? (Coltsboy29 can back me up on the ranges, he has seen this in action and it has even been used on him.)
The Beast, Yet Another Nf Mod
Just a simple explanation/write up.

Nice Mod! One slightly off topic thing: The stefans would be .50 to .54 caliber, not .177. Caliber is measured in inches, so .177 would be mush closer for 1/5 in. instead of 1/2 in.
Am I the only one who uses the sig function for a sig?

Nice job and looks clean with some good ranges. Nothing really innovative though like you said, apart from using an EaB spring. From what I've heard, 2 o rings, especially of the same size as the original, doesn't improve the seal by much but will slow down your plunger due to friction. I would recommend a slightly bigger, or electrical taped single o ring. Other than that I got nothin'.
Edit: TNL- I think he's referring to the BB, not the stefan.

You'll do a lot better if you spread the lips with the front. Trying to wriggle the back in there first seems a bit counterintuitive.

E-tape doesn't stick well on my guns, there is always at least a little residue of the lube. I still need to work on the seal, mainly because I tried the water test, and air came out a few places where it shouldn't. Thanks for the comments guys!
PS-I was referring to the size of the BB used as the weight.

E-Tape works better if you disassemble and wash all of the parts with dish soap. Otherwise, I like to us teflon tape. It doesn't have any adhesive, but it will stay nicely if you stretch it tight and then install the o-ring over it. It's also non-stick, so it won't add friction to your plunger.

So you have to put the E-tape under the O-ring after washing it? GOD I feel stupid. I thought you put the E-tape over it.
