What in the pump will "melt" if you pump it all at one time?
Also, I think we all want to know how far it shoots.

The actual pump piece. Little text diagram when pump is pulled out in mid pumping motion -

_)
__)=======[__)

^------^-------^
1------2--------3

1 - RF20 main gun
2 - Piece that could melt
3 - Pump handle.

I think that this pump wins the prize for the flimsiest, though. I feel like I'm gonna break it every time I pump it.

And yes, it sorta looks like a dick. Don't need to tell me.

But. This thing is a thing of beauty! 150 pumps is a lot, but for this result, it seems worth it. It almost looks like a Doomsayer of some sort..

Two thumbs up. Awesome job.

EDIT- Diagram was out of wack.

... to be able to get a better burst or sustained fire, rather than blowing the whole load at once.

if you drop that thing on its barrels, they are going to SHATTER under the weight of the RF20.
other than that, it's pretty goddamn awesome.

Don't drop it...

Everyones complaining about so many pumps. This seems like the kind of gun for short rounds such as single elimination, and you'd pump it up beforehand. Then just use your sidearm. That's basically what'll happen with most machine guns for me anyways...

EDIT-- By the way, its a sick gun.

Dude that is one crazy mod, that thing is sick...
Having to pump it 120 times is a problem though. That is the definition of a long reload, but then again 120 pumps would last thought several 20 shot bursts

If you do a search for Robart, you will find a complete line of small Alum air tanks (150psi), High pressure tubing, and this high pressure hand pump (rated over 100psi). It may help with projects like this.

They are designed to go in model airplanes, so they should work perfectly for air powered nerf.

That is the best rapid fire 20 I have ever seen. I can't wait to see how far this shoots. You need to make a video for this thing.

Thanks for the praise, everybody. I just went outside and tested the ranges.

With 8.5" barrels, 120 pumps, flat, the darts landed between 70' and 90'. So I'm going to say that it's official range is 80' average.

Good enough for me.
