Hey guys, thanks for taking an interest.
I wanted to ask you for your opinions for a new Gunblade.
Please either post some pictures (of how the frame of the gun should look) on here or if you'd like to keep it a secret, just PM me it, and I'll consider perhaps making another one.



The last one came out to look like this, and Hereticorp said he would've bought it had it not been for the blade's design. So I'd like to know how you guys think a Gunblade should look.

Like that. Straight blade with a little hook on the end, barrel runs across the top of the blade instead of along the side. Revolver portion is optional. Pump in the handle. Basically an extended grip pistol with a very large blade mounted under the barrel.

Maybe wait till one of those new dart tag guns come out, theones with like the 10 shot revolvers and but a blade on that.

Hey guys, thanks for the replies, but I actually wanted to see what you wanted them to look like (like draw a quick sketch on MS Paint or photoshop or something). If you do it, be sure to make sure that the blade doesn't block the barrel opening (from shooting bullets/stefans like they do in the FF8 game; p.s. yes I already know that in the game when the gunblades are fired, they don't shoot bullets, they power-up the sword attacks instead).

You asked. Technically it's a 'gunblade'...it's a gun with blades on it.

See, mine doesn't actually block the barrel, the barrel can run along the top edge of the blade, that's the point.

Just let me finish up the dagger I started up yesterday and I'll start writing up some plans for possible future projects

I did kill it and make a new recon, just for the ability to get it around easier at indoor wars.

The SS is a great product, it's cheap, and comes with so much for so little. You can salvage a mini pump; an air release valve; and 2 darts for under 4 bucks (And if your PathMark has those cheap bootleg/knock-off toys, they might sell "CyberShots" for a dollar less then the Nerf SS). I bought all 6 knock-off produces from my local PathMark to experiment on them, and it only cost 17 bucks, then I got the real stuff from TRU, 3 of them cost $13... >_<

Now that the air system is done, I'll work on the body, then the blades, then the cosmetics. I like your's bOOm13, but you can't actually use the blade in a skirmish, it's purely cosmetic.

Haha, of course they're only for cosmetics!!
I don't ever really get any chance to play with my nerf guns much anyways T_T (been asking my friends to play, but they'd rather design them rather then play with them).
I was only making these GB's so I'd have a working weapon to bring to the next anime convention at the Jacob Javit's center this fall/winter
