I can't think of a holiday I loathe more than Valentine's Day....

St.Patricks day is by far the worst out of any holidays. Unless you like wearing green, getting pinched, getting yelled at by wasted people, ect. And I'm 12, and in grade 7. (No I did'nt fail my birthday is at the end of the year)

Oh halfy your so young. You do not yet grasp the wonder of St. Patrick's Day. Once you are of age you will realize that it is a grand holiday especially because the best way to celebrate is to drink beer, guinness (it's beyond beer my friends), irish whiskey and so on.

What other holiday is devoted to getting wasted with your friends?
Truely St. Patty's day is an awesome holiday, but some are to young to yet realise it.

And I'm about to turn 23 and in my first year of law school. (I've never failed and my birthday is in the middle of the year.)

One more thing more related to the topic, the girl I've been dating since last May lives just under 400 miles away, so seeing her for Valentine's Day was pretty much out of the question. However, Spending $50 for a few roses delivered to her office made her really happy when I called that afternoon. She's flying into town on Friday for the weekend (The law school has a charity ball which is like a prom that makes money for a charity). It will be the first time I've seen her in the last 6 weeks. You know what? It's totally worth it.

all the available girls in my school - and grade, for that part - were either going out of town or working. Sucks.

Yeah, and all the girls at my school were washing their hair when I asked what they were doing....

Hardy har har. They actually were leaving, many of them are my friends and they left to go visit friends and family up North and / or go skiing. Bite me.

I beg to differ, the 4th of July is better. It's all about getting wasted, eating hamburgers (slightly burnt) and lighting things on fire with reckless abandon. What could be better than that?

We call that Boy Scouts. My brother's friend's troop plays capture the flag, but instead of flags, what you have to do is take a torch and throw it into a barrel of gasoline. If you do that, you win.

Possibly money. Lots of it.

I'd have to say St. Patty's Day is one of the cooler non-christmas holidays, but nothing beats the excuse for flirting, or if you're already involved the gratuitious Valentines Day Sex (provided you got her the right gift)
