I've read Nazgul's thread, and I'm not sure what I wanna do to my rf20...

I noticed a couple guys said they took out the black restrictor completely. If I do this, will I still be able to shoot micros? or will I have to start making stefans? What kind of gains am I looking at?

Would it be better to drill them out? and btw...what would be the best way to do this?

The best thing to do if you want to still be able to fire nerf darts is to open the gun, and remove the barrel assembly. Don't seperate the assebly get a drill that fits the holes in the back of the barrels and carfully drill out the X shaped pegs. If you leave the circular bases you can still fire nerf darts.

I'm not sure why but if you open the barrel assembly and take out the entire pegs a Wild fire or RF20 just won't shoot worth a darn, but when you drill out the x shapes from the bottom there is no problem.

It seems that the rings supporting the pegs provide a rudimentary seal between the two halves of the barrel assembly. I'm avoiding this problem by simply throwing away the front half of said barrel assembly but that's obviously not going to be a popular solution.

If you are throwing away the front half what are you replacing it with? Brass? PETG? CPVC?

I drilled out the pegs and it still shoots stock micros. Also it can shoot stefans. The stock micros get better range than before on rapid fire setting, i havnt tested the single fire though

Well I'm finished. Gun works great and sonics sound absolutely dope now.

This was my second mod...The first was a master blaster.
