Well, I have to admit, those different colored darts are ingenious. But still, These bright orange and green colors are for darts, not guns.. Don't get me wrong, I love these new designs, but the colors bug me. However, I am now worried about the CTF pistol because it might have an inverted plunger like Kid Flash pointed out..

Inverted plungers don't NEED to suck. The Scout/Crossfire design is fine. Its actually a good way to reduce the amount of length required for a plunger/barrel assembly. But anywhere that the design calls for a turret, or breech, where the design inherently carries dead space, the inverted plunger is a poor choice. Take the Recon and TTG for instance: The TTG has a 22cc plunger displacement, and maxes out about 65-75 feet or so. The Recon has a 25cc displacement, but can't top 60 Feet, no matter what you do to it. That is all because there is 15ccs of dead space (more if it's stefan modded) between the back of the plunger and the back of the dart. That's where all of the power goes.

Wow. I was under the impression that ALL inverted plungers suck, because I had a maverick, the long shot front gun, and I have a working recon and they all get piss-poor ranges. After reading what you posted, I guess I was too quick to judge. I guess only shooting the actual gun will tell whether it sucks or not.

I think people from Nerf look at this forum alot. I mean we come up with a extended clip they make one, we tried coming up with a round drum they make one, we make the shotgun mod thing (i think it's called the doom sayer or something i forgot) they make the maverick shotgun thing. So i think there watching us. "Heeeeeello...Heeeeeello nothin drat's!"

P.S. For the "they make one" stuff input "they might make one"

It looks like an air gun for this reason. Look at the orangy gun, doesn't it look like it's in the middle of a pump? That, or these are just there to look pretty and don't actually work.

IMPORTANT! look at the bottom picture and read the box "includes two 10 dart pump action blasting" so it is air powered I knew it

The doomsayer and the Furyfire have nothing to do with each other. It's likely that the Furyfire was based off the Supermaxx 1000, a similar pump action revolver.

I'm happy that they're releasing the drum magazine but I'm also sad about this because that means that the Spartan NCS-12 won't be released this year. Sigh.. I was looking forward to seeing that. I guess we'll have to wait till next year. However the drum magazine is pretty darn cool. I'm just worried about how it might get in the way of when using the recon or something since yuo have to move your hand to reload and it might get in the way perhaps?

I, suddenly, wanna make an automatic, air-powered LS to use this magazine and fire an automatic spray of 35 darts in rapid succession.

It's too bad it won't work with the LS clip system. I, given the time, could make an LS shell fit MS internals and fire an MS clip, but the LS requires a breech to close around the dart.

On topic, I'm gonna have to get the Furyfire and the Raider.

And the Yellow LS...

Im a little confused about how that Raider works. It says its rapid fire but it looks like its a pump action gun. Could anyone shead some light about how the system would most likely be?

That pump action looks gorgeous, hopefully its not just a modified Maverick. Like its not gonna have the same plunger.

I'm guessing that it means shotgun rapid fire (like on a Winchester Model 12). This would mean that ifyou
hold the trigger down, the Raider will shoot one round per pump.

[qoute] Is that a yellow Longshot I see on the back off the box [/qoute]
I believe so, and I also see what appear to be a super clips on the back of the box in both the recon and longshot.

Rifleman, if you would've read the rest of the topic, you would've read that those are NOT super clips, they're pictures showing the Drum Mag fits in LS and Recon.

A doomsayer is also pump action. The term had nothing to do with a pump as you're thinking of. If anything it probably makes it less likely to be air powered, even if it looks it.

Damn Noob! They fit in the longshot and recon. Fucking read the thread.

EDIT: expecting a reply today for the email from some other designers.

Hmmm, just found out some info... sorry if some of this has been covered before (I've seen some in this thread, thought I'd confirm).

New yellow Longshot - pretty much the same as the old one but yellow :P

Raider - pump-action style gun. Can either pump it once, and then pull the trigger to fire, or you can hold the trigger and keep pumping, each pump will fire 1 shot. 35 dart drum is fully compatible with Longshot and Recon clips, etc. though a Recon with that drum might look strange lol

Furyfire - holds 10 darts. Instead of cocking the gun back, like the Maverick, etc. you'll pump the handle at the front of the gun, like a shotgun. This will load the gun, and then you can fire with the trigger, then repeat. Basically a newer and better version of the Dart Tag (10 dart version). Actually it's a lot more similar to the Maverick, in terms of how the gun is designed. Only real difference is that the rotating barrel is more like the Firefly, and the pump is at the front, for "easier and faster firing". It's not an air powered gun, with an air pump and a tank. It's spring loaded, like the Maverick, Raider, etc.

I think the one with the target board (I forgot its name) is basically the Elimination, but with 1 gun and a target board.

Don't really know much about the CTF or Strikefire, though, sorry. Except that the CTF comes with an electronic beacon and that will probably cost most than the guns :P

Unfortunately the Raider will be available in Australia late May... so long to wait! No doubt you'll get it sooner in the US, lucky sods.

Nightcabbage: Where did you get your info? Im not believing anything that is not a direct qouote from the guy who kid flash is in contact with. He knows, he designs the interiors. Unless you got this from a good source, in which case you should say where, it is just speculaton.

I think he may be right though. It looks like a fancy 4 extra barrel, pump action nicely colored mav.

Where are you getting interior from? Kid Flash stated that the person he is in contact with designs the outside and "makes it look pretty". Correct me if i'm wrong?
