Quick and dirty Big Salvo mod.
Stock, it shoots rockets about 20 feet.

Here we are going to convert it to shoot stefans.

The materials you will need.

Use the length of PETG that suits you best; I used 8".

Start wrapping E-tape around the bottom of the PETG until it is tight in the Salvo barrel.
Once it is tight, wrap E-tape again about 1.5-2 inches up the PETG until it is flush with the Salvo barrel also.

Place it inside the Salvo.

Rinse, wash, repeat.

There you go, depending on your dart fit, you should get ranges around 80'-100'

Does that have any air loss? Or would it be better without the stock barrel, and just the PETG.

How many pumps does it take to get that kind of range? Also, how many pumps would it take, and what would the ranges be like if the pump were plugged? Lastly, very nice and clean job.

The BS works like the Hornet, so completely removing the barrels would be hard to do.

But no, there isn't any air loss.

The OPRV kicks in around 12 pumps.

Plugged, you could expect around 100'-120'.

That is indeed quick. So those are 100% air tight with just e-tape? Hot damn!

Actually, its a 2001 Chevy Avalanche, but yeah.

I needed to do a barrel change before one of our wars, and figured I'd take pictures.

The conversation went something like this...

"Oh dude, my stefans don't fit in these Shit barrels... "

"Wait, I have some PETG and some e-tape in the truck lemme get that."

"Yo man, got your camera? I could totally post this as a mod online or something!"

Depending on your particular Big Salvo, you won't even need to use E-Tape for CPVC.

However, you may also crack the original barrels if you shove the CPVC in too hard. My first BS accepted CPVC stubs nicely, while the second broke.

Nice, quick, perfect for my Salvo. Can you remove the barrels and rear load? Considering you didn't mention glue at any point.

Hey...I got a crazy idea: how about you stop all that sigging stuff? It's not even my thread and it annoys me.

I can, but usually I don't.

It takes less time to ramrod them in.
