I don't have any industrial springs on me at the moment, and I was wondering what's a good spring to replace/supplement the BBB spring?
Is there is a spring from ace that would be awesome, just give the spring #

Use one #49 spring, and a second one cut down a bit so that they both fit in the gun. Make sure the springs are long enough so that they push the plunger rod forward enough to push the side buttons.

Is that like half of another? Or is it more like a third?

You can also stretch out the #49 until it's about an inch or so longer than the BBB spring and then stick it in the oven on about 550* for like 10-15 minutes. That's what I did for my BBB, and it seems to be working well after many, many shots.

I think it's a little bit more than a half. It shouldn't be very hard to find the length. Just cut 1/3 of the spring off, then work down from the 2/3 if you really want to be careful.

Do you use the 49 with the stock spring, or replace it? (I've never seen either spring, so I don't know if they'll fit together or whatnot).

Also, I read that a Home Depot Handyman #9713 spring would work (on one of the BBB write-ups) however, my local home depot didn't carry them. (And the employee had no idea what it was).

I replace the stock spring with the #49 spring. I don't think both fit at the same time anyway, and the #49 spring is just as strong if not stronger than the original spring so it would be pointless and stupid to have both in the gun.

In my BBB, I have the stock spring, a recon spring, and a Nitefinder spring.

If you cut it in half. You might be able to pre-stress it and put in a little more, but honestly it's not much more powerful (if at all) than the stock spring. I use 1/2 +Bow springs, and they work quite well.

Jesus, Draconis, do you put +Bow springs in everything?

On topic, AR-15's and BBB springs do not interlace well.

Damn skippy. Though I should add that my seven year old can no longer prime that BBB. When you buy them 5 to a pack, you tend to try them in EVERYTHING. Unfortunately, they don't fit in TTGs. Too wide. Unless you replace the plunger tube... :-) Look for that one soon.
