Wow that clip looks stefan compatible already. And hell ya that thing looks great for indoor stock wars.

I doubt that. The drum is connected to what looks like a normal cs-6 clip, so you're going to have to modify that part at least.

My other 2 cents is that it looks to me like the plunger will have to go into the stock, so at least the black part will have to stay on.

alright, right me off as a cynic but... i'm disappointed. Digi camo? fail. the drum, as others have said, looks like it'd snap right off. plus honestly its cool and all to release rapid-fire guns, but i we don't need tons of them. I was, actually impressed by the design of the gun, excluding the drum. the gun itself, seperate from the drum, seems durable, cool looking, and easy to use. that stock is absolutely perfect. why can't every shoulder stock on a nerf gun be that good? the only thing is some little kids might have problems with how long the thing is. it'd suck to be a kid and get this thing then have to hold the gun sideways to even shoot at your friends. It kind of makes me wish the recon's design had been more like this tho. The drum... i'm sorry i just don't see how its amazing. Can you imagine how long it takes to individually put every dart back in? as far as going back to the good ol' blue and orange, thank you hasbro. thank you.... however i wish that the design of the clip sticking out the side in the N-STRIKE game had been kept. its would have been much easier to snap in, snap out, and i'd rather have 8 bullets on a one by one basis than boooooooooooooom ok i just fired 35. I feel just like i did when the vulcan came out. ANyways, maybe there will be some way to mod it and make it nondrum fed. on another note, yup i noticed the bbb too. looks kind of interesting, but nothing really omg. and i second whoever said that we shouldn't speculate too much. this reminds me so much of the vulcan, minus the fact that this actually could be used run and gun style. yeah the super soaker rerelease is a great idea i'm glad hasbro is smart in one area :D kidding of course...

Also, would they be so devious as to retain moose, bears, and wolverines as legal council?

I'm trying not to crap my pants right now! The only problem I see with it, is it's coming out in fall, but it's only thirty five bucks!

2. I'm assuming that you twist he nob to advance the drum=slower loading.

Pfffah. That knob is obviously for unlocking the drum mag's clear plastic covering on that side, thus being able to open the drum mag and actually reload. Else how would slam mode work?

Anyways, this gun looks pretty darn cool. Can't wait to get one in my hands.

Now that I look at the clip again I was thinking that if you really wanted to you might be able to switch it between guns. (longshot, ect.) The only problem is the weight, the clip could be too heavy for the tiny spring that holds the clip in. Also sputnik how much does the gun its self weigh?

What's this video everyone's talking about?

It will probably be released early, like in the summer. That's the best financial time for it to be released.

Scroll own a bit on this page.

sputnik had it at the bottom of the first post, if you actually looked for it.

glamdringguy15: I think you're hating on the drum a bit too much. We now has a 35'shot compatibility with 3 different guns, and probably more guns to come.
Also, there should never, EVER be a period in a war where you fire of 35 shots without a time to reload. Find a time to reload.
ANd have you ever thought that maybe, just maybe, that people might have more than 1 drum, so if they run out of shots (which they shouldn't) then they can just slap another one on?

On top of all this, we have to remember that we can also use the normal 6-shot clips with this gun too, so fi somehow you manage to run out of 35 shots then you can just slap in a 6-shot clip for time's sake.

It is the same design. If you'd been paying attention, you would know that the Raider is compatible with the 6-shot clips. Think before you go whining about things that aren't true.

There is a small yellow button like on the recon on the stock, I think the stock is removable.

Well, that sucks. This looks just like the Recon, reworked to allow for the giant drum. AT least there will be room in the stock to work with replacing what is most certainly going to be a reverse plunger.

Well, let's just hope that the internals are good enough to mod.
And, we get to prime the gun from the front now!

I suppose I'll throw my two cents in on this one. I personally think the handle and main body of this gun looks painfully similar to the Recon. They've got the exact same trigger. The blaster it's self is rather boring in my opinion, but I love the drum. I do have a problem with it's mass being at the top though. When it does in fact come out, I'm sure I'll get one, but I'll probably use the drum for a LS or Recon, because of that. I feel that it would be rather awkward with all that weight nowhere near centred. A standard clip or High-Cap mag would probably be much less unwieldy in this one. None-the-less I am looking forward to this blaster's release.

I'm not impressed. As badger alluded to, the drum insertion point looks flimsy and the blaster may need a fair bit of reinforcement just for the most basic of modifications.

From what I see now, I'd rather sink my US$35 elsewhere.

Yup. That's because the drum would have to weigh a ton, and it's on top of the connection point, not on the bottom. The only feasible way I can see using this is with a standard clip.
