I was just thinking, and I thought that if a longshot had a low cap internal clip that somehow I could make the bolt sled shorter that it could have an internl clip. The clip would be fed through the jaming door. Does anyone have any thoughts?

For the up-right clip loading, you could just remove the jam door, and the top handle and use poly carbonate to help keep the clip standing straight.

I believe that you mean M1 Garand, not Mi Grand. Is this correct? If so, are you trying to convert a longshot to an M1 Garand?

Tried that. Didn't work. Darts were too far up to be loaded in a forward barrel. That pin out the front of the barrel is necessary.

LS is not an M1 Garrand. Deal with it.

M1 Garrand topic closed by Talio

Jut to let you know, I know that the topic is talking about trying this with a different blaster. I am refeerring you to it as your thread here is a concept thread, which are not tolerated, hence the reason why Talio closed the previous one.

Agreed. If you need an m1 grand for any reason just buy as toy one and play with it. i don't see the point of making a replica gun that is supposed to function perfectly, pick one. i already am working on a project that will satisfy your need for a functioning replica gun. Be patient or actually do something and not wait for someone to do it for you.

Can you guys please spell it correctly? You're always yelling at people for bad spelling/grammar, and now you're using it.

I think it's time to close this thread.

Experimentation and craftwork are some of the hallmarks of a productive NerfHaven member. Not daydreaming.

If you have a Longshot, take a good hard look at it and understand how much work would go into putting all of the mechanicals into a wood-stock (or plastic replica) of an M1 Garand rifle. As mentioned before, someone had the notion to do that with a different blaster (which was even more complicated), and the thread was closed.

The best way to have a Nerf M1 Garand (in looks only, not function) is to try an air-powered setup based on an AirTech 2000 internal set. But even that requires a lot of fabrication and crafting which seems to be way out of reach for many who daydream and conceptualize.

If you don't have a Longshot and was "just wondering", then you really shouldn't post anything at all. Or you shouldn't buy a Longshot because it's way too complex in it's operating system for the beginning Nerfer as I have said numerous times.

Or just go to kapowwe.com and buy a toy gun there. Have fun.
