In my aresonal, which is retardly small,i have 2 good modded guns. A expand a blast, with a barrel i don't know what it is made of, and a minimized night fider i am still currently working on. I am going to either brass/copper it or cpvc couple with a pistol breech i make up. Which should i use as a secondary and a primary?

EaB Primary, NF secondary. Your setup is right in front of your face.

I wouldnt copper it. I've tryed 1/2 copper, its expensive, it doesnt fit any dart at all, and you cant put cpvc or pvc in it without a dremel.Brass would work, and you might also wanna check out PETG.Hope it helped.

For now, EaB as Primary, NF as secondary, but seriously consider an upgrade, the EaBs giant-but-weak plunger head prevents spring upgrades, and it really is only useful as a giant secondary (My brassed EaB gets ~30 ft). And don't use copper for guns, no seal and a lot of weight, stick to aluminum, brass or CPVC. For a real primary that would be easy to build, try to find an At2k or 3k, 60-90 foot ranges would make a nice temporary primary, but when you feel confident, build an LS or BBB, and then your really ready for battle.

A few of the mods in the mod directory get okay ranges for EaB, enough to use it as a primary. You'll need a stronger spring for it.

Alright cool, but these are just my currently modded guns, unless you include a longshot that has air restrictors. but for a new primary, i'm thinking about getting a at2 or 3k. which of those is a good idea? thanks for the help.

NerferWiki has many answers. Both the the at2k and at3k are good primaries. If you're ambitious, you could try doing something with your longshot.

It also depends on the ranges of each gun. But i would go with the eab. As stated above

With a little work, EaBs can be great primaries. Mine has a PETG barrel (10 inches), a spring replacement, improved seal (vaccum loads) a dart stop, 2 bungies and surgical rubber added for extra power. It gets 95ft. Im not lying. 95ft vaccum loading is friggin amazing. You need to put on A LOT of etape on the plunger head to get a good seal, but the pluger tube is huge, so once you do, that thing is putting out a lot of air, fast.
I hope this helped, I would do oodalump's NF plunger tube extension on your NF, and slap on a bunch of bands. Deaddumpster can attest to the NF he modded in this way (which he sold to me) was hitting 85ft flat at HbH2.
