Also, would they be so devious as to retain moose, bears, and wolverines as legal council?

But those are just game stats, they don't mean anything.According to this, the raider is slower and less powerful than a recon.

+1But those are just game stats, they don't mean anything.
To balance out the game, they've simply decreased the power of the Raider compared to the Recon, because it holds more shots.

The raider in the game (on that link, anyway) only holds 6 shots. It uses a standard clip.
Probably dead by now, or something.

@assassin nf (or people wondering why the raider has a lower power rating than the recon but the same # of shots):
In this game (don't own the game) you most likely collect better blasters as you progress. Wouldn't it make sense that the recon is a gun earned after the raider so there for the raider is given less power? On the other hand you could be right.

NO just no ok. That is very old and bland. But on another hand the stampede and raider and spartan say they are 09 blaster look at the stampede its beast.
A beast? Naw. First, IT HAS NO TRIGGER. Second, if you actually looked at how long the little "armed" tube is, and how long the barrel is, There is almost no way that it is a beast. The "armed" indicator is shorter than the mav-ish chambers! And there is no way to know for sure that the blasters will actually be made in the first place (the patents prove little). The Raider is an exception of course, because..... Well there was a press release for it. Until OMC magically posts a magical picture of the magical new blasters of 2009, we will just wait for the Raider. I wish the Stampede would come out though haha. It does LOOK like a beast.

Does anyone notice that all of the released guns say nstrike in there descrpions. Other guns (made up for the game) simply have "top secret" instead of nstrike. But what intruged me was the that some blasters that aren't real had nstrike as part of their description. Is there any reason that some of these ficticious blasters are grouped with the real blasters instead of being labled "top secret"? (I'm not looking for speculation, only an actual answer to my question/observation.)
The three blasters that have the N-strike designation and are not currently available are the Raider, the Spartan, and the Stampede, which are supposedly coming out this year, but of course we don't know for sure. They are also the only three blasters that could be made, as the rest of them (the TOP SECRET ones) are all completely ridiculous. As much as I'd love a gun with unlimited ammo that shot 3 foam soccer balls per second, it's not going to happen.
The stampede just looks like a bunch of maverick and recon parts slapped together... It says it holds 12 darts, so does it have two Maverick cylinders? I can't tell from the side view.
I'm awaiting the day that OMC is permitted to tell us about the '09 blasters.
Probably dead by now, or something.

Ah, yes, I forgot :)The raider in the game (on that link, anyway) only holds 6 shots. It uses a standard clip.
That's not related to the new Raider, except by name.

If you look at the other stats for the stampede, it says it has two barrels. So yes, it would be like a double-barrel shotgun-revolver hybrid...thing. which is kinda cool.

a) make the in-games weapons have almost no relation to their real-world counterparts
b) include non-released weapons (that aren't necessarily anything like the real weapons will be)

Does anyone else find it a little odd that they'd make a game, and...
a) make the in-games weapons have almost no relation to their real-world counterpartsinclude non-released weapons (that aren't necessarily anything like the real weapons will be)
I'll bet that a lot of it is that if the real world applied to the game, it wouldn't be any fun.
