The Salem State College Game Club, along with the Anime Club, is proud to host a Nerf game At Salem State College. The game will be held in one of our gyms or, if it is a good enough day out, on one of the campuses. We have been give full permission by the College to hold this event and we have been allowed to host the event with only a few precautions.
Date: March 29th
Time: Noon till 5pm
Location: Salem State College, South Campus, 11 Harrison Road, Salem, MA 01970
Rules:
- $3 admission (you will receive 25 rounds. You may void this cost by bringing a refrigerator or washing machine box instead.)
- If you are younger than 18 you need some sort of eye protection.
- No homemade air guns.
- There is a range restriction of 120ft for all guns. Range testing will be done only on guns in question.

I think I am the same story, unless maybe you could give me a ride for the 14th in an exchange for a ride to this one..

That's an enormously brilliant plan! I drive you to the first one, and you drive me to this one!

The only problem is that this is the weekend before the school play, which is the most intense rehearsal time. 90% chance that I won't be able to make it. But I'll see if an opportunity shows its self.

I can go and give wes a ride if it is on March 28th, a Sat. But I can NOT come on the 29th, a Sunday.

But I am open to returning Wes's favor and driving to any available mass war.

Ok Guys the game is on Sunday. We are looking at a HUGE turnout on our end. Somewhere between 40 to 80 people are likely to show from the 60 people who said they are coming and the 125 maybes.

There are a few changes in the plans:

1. Eyewear of some sort is required now. We got past the groups and clubs manager without needing them because they didn't play with any of the guns but our club adviser wants us to cover our own asses from any possible lawsuits from hits to the eyes.

2. If it is a nice enough day we are going to be playing out side on a different campus that is like a 10 or so minute walk away. You should still come to the location indicated on the first post but people there will redirect you to the other campus.

3. Bring as much ammo as you can! if you don't want to give it to the other players you can sell it to us and then we will sell it to them... or you could just sell it to them. We have made like 3000 rounds for this game but that will only be about like 35-50 rounds per person... and we have quite a few people using Full auto guns.

SO! 36 to 38 folks came!

All and all I have to say that this game was very very good. We haven't had any major complaints yet about the game besides a few questions as to whether one of two people called hits or not but really there wasn't much issue with that.

What that means is that we WILL, in all likelihood, be hosting another game at Salem State in the fall. If the weather is good we will be playing outside like I wish we could have done for this game.
